I hope you are wrong too. We have got to get a SOLID HIRE to bring back the great recruits. Dooley abandoned the tri-state relationships with area coaches and players. :hmm

So I just had a heart attack...I'm sitting in class and my roomate texts me an ESPN update that Tennessee has signed Les Miles to a 3 year 29$ million contract, which i thought was absolutely ridiculous cause who would pay 9 million a year for a coach.... naturally i left class and I rushed home and see nothing of the sorts on TV....Gonna strangle my roomate and move out sound like a good choice VolNation? or should I finally invest in a smartphone?

After reading some of his quotes I think he has all he can handle at Miami and may not be so quick to jump. At UT he will and should be held to higher standards. However, if we miss on Gruden, Fisher, Kelly, Paterson and we do come calling he might want away from the looming NCAA clouds and his DC. FWIW.

Does everyone think the head coaching hire will play out in mid December? I am wondering if that is really the plan is Dave Hart even doing that much with interviewing people right now or is he going ahead and calling people, interviewing, and talking offers. Especially with the coaches that not is his top 3-4.

LMFAO at JBC as QB coach, he was barely a QB as it was at UT, Clipboard Holder was more representative of Cooters Tennessee career lol

I'm really starting to think that our next coach will be Jimbo Fisher. He doesn't like FSU, the ACC, his AD, and his DC just left. He wants to coach in the SEC. Gruden isn't coming, never was. I just have a gut feeling that Jimbo is looking for a nice orange tie about right now.

Folks get back to earth ! Gruden never was coming, he likes to have 1 boss(an NFL owner) not a bunch of medling rich boosters (reminds me of the Cowboys mess, a rich guy thinking he is a football guy) . Gundy is not leaving his alma mater ( anyone here of T. Boone Pickens and his $250million dollar endowment to Ok st athletics program ) . Al Golden , really, what has he proved ?
Charlie Strong will be interviewed next week by Dave Hart when both are in NY for the meetings/dinner !

Gruden made the denial today, I guess the Grudenites can move on now....Jimbo is a fine hire IMO, hes done wonders in 3 years at FSU, I'm not at all opposed to Jimbo coming here and starting something wonderful for us. I'm also not opposed to a few other guys on the list everyone seems to dog, including Petrino.
