What I heard this morning was a $6 million offer and what he wants for assistants but got to do it before Sunday.....why not live the fantasy one more day.....:)

Temple is not TN. How hard is it to win given who Temple lines up against each week?

If you can't win it all in the ACC, how do you expect to do so in the SEC?

a good coach elsewhere will be an average coach in the SEC. An average coach is a horrible hire for TN.

Patterson makes 3 million and is a Texas guy. Probably waiting on the longhorn job. I would take him, but could we keep him. Mora is a west coast guy, but only makes 1. 8 million. He is building a beach house in LA. Being a Coach's son he would be used to moving around.

I don't see Mora Jr. even considering UT. If you do well at UCLA that's 15-20 year gig. Decent money, warm weather, the beach, I mean, c'mon, thats hard to compete with. Same with Shaw at Standford, Palo Alto is beautiful, not real high expectations in football, but, a job you could have easily for 15-20 years if you do well. And once you get a little Cali in you its tough to be anywhere else. Ask Lane Kiffen.

Thinking about it. There was never a confirmation or denial till this past week. This was all rumors that went to another level and just went crazy. So many contradictions and we just wanted to believe it anyway. I am not going to believe anything now unless there is a signed contract. Lots of trolls on this board.

He can have a house in the mountains plus several million more. I like Mora and he is in PAC Championship game!

Larry fedora never coached Tebow at Florida, he was at UF long before Tim was.

Have you looked at the teams Strong has played against. The cream puff teams that Alabama and Florida pad their stats with.

Many say they don't understand the love for him and say us that wanted him are living in a dream world. However, I know he would have brought excitement to a weak program. We would have become relevant over night just on his name alone because young players would want to play for him. The big names we haven't landed out of HS in years would now show interest in us. Now we are placing focus on others. One by one they will bow out IMO. In the end we might not be much better off than we were with Dooley. So, I stick to what I said weeks ago. Why fire Dooley unless you have a sure home run hire guaranteed?
