You Doomsdayers are pathetic! Crying and moaning that Ark AND auburn have both hired coaches that WE DIDN'T WANT and wanting to push Hart overboard? Give me a break. Let the system play out and work. gundy, strong, and Fisher are still out there girls. Pit the cyanide capsules down, back away from the ledge, and take the noose off from around your necks.

I don't understand the panic of everybody. 3 hires for 3 schools, but we were not even looking at any of those coaches. We will be fine.

I just got a text from a family member in Louisville asking what was being said today about Strong. he said word up there is that an offer has been made.

Just heard on 104.5 from a caller in Louisville (per 790 AM in Louisville) that Strong was offered $3.7MM-5yr deal. Will be announced tomorrow.

Hopefully more positive posts here on Strong who I believe is a good hire. The ESPN forum was getting a little racist and annoying.

I really thought we would choose Gundy over Strong. Didn't think the boosters and the blue hairs in the 100 sections would be ready for a black coach. Whomever it is, I just hope he hires a good staff.

I was wanting Strong when they hired Kiffin and when that went south, I wanted him before Dooley. I hope we get him!! I think he would be a good fit for Tennessee. We need defense and he has a proven track record. If not Strong,.. Fedora is my second because I think Gundy is using Tenn. for more $$ from OSU.:lolabove:

tennessee football is done for a decade. strong is not the right guy, hart should start packing his bags now. all you fella's that like the hire enjoy those 300 dollar season tix because it will be that way for the next decade.

Living in the Louisville area I have never been high on Strong. There were other candidates that, although aren't perfect, seem to be better hires, but if UT will pay for the assistants then maybe we can do something. I think most of us wanted the WOW, we have got the NOW instead. Go Vols!
