That's what people are saying, and I disagree with trashing our team that way. They played a great game against Cinci. Bray, Hunter, and Rogers lit up the scoreboard, and Wilcox's defense played like gangbusters. Why do people make something bad out of a good win?

Chip Kelly will not leave Oregon where he is in the title hunt every year to come to what has become a second tier SEC school thanks to ADs Hamilton,Hart and the meddling Haslam family ! We fired Fulmer, hired a "flashy " Kiffin , that i told my son would be a disaster, did not council Pearl accordingly ( apparently he would not kneel down to the Haslams), hired Dooley with a losing record ( anyone notice that program is winning now that Dooley is gone ?) , pushed Legendary Coach Summitt out rudely , and sought a coach (Gruden ) that only desperate Vol fans thought would take a college job. Then UT thinks Gundy would leave his alma mater , with a nice $250 million "gift'from T. Boone Pickens. To mention Petrino is a joke , down here in Atlanta the talkshows mention that Auburn is a "soulless"program that would consider that snake Petrino, when most schools with class won't touch!

Why would you even consider this scumbag ? What could he say to a recruit and his parents about character , other than he personally has none, along with honesty or morals ?

I really dont like the guy as a person, but its time to just get bobby. I mean he made arkansas relevant. sign him, and put a clause in his contract that if he even looks a volleyball player, his contract is void. If he gets in trouble, no buy out when he gets fired. We are passed trying to look like a great collegiate university. I mean I think we were dead last in the sec for apr, so why not have an adulterous coach as well. Sorry for his wife, but this is football. I could care less who he is spending his free time with.

Anyone watching Charlie Strong's press conference ? This displays the character of the guy I wanted from the start! While most were "chasing rabbits over the hill" ( Gruden,Gundy,Kelly) !
The VOLS need a SOLID DEFENSIVE COACH, PERIOD !
You could keep Chaney as OC, did UT not set offensive records this year , why yes they did !
As USA today reported it is now on to PLAN F, not B !
Kirby Smart , or Butch Jones or Tommy Tuberville ! TT took a swipe at a GA involved w/special teams when the GA told they Head Coach , he did not need to be told how to run his ST, after they melted down on the last play before the incident ! during a game is not the place to question the HC authority, just like in the business world, you do not call out the boss at a meeting ! i just hope the do not make another desperate, haslam approved hire !

Rumors here in Boone, NC of Appalachian State's former head Coach Jerry Moore, interviewing in Knoxville may be the right candidate for the job.

This is getting embarrassing- turned down by Gru, Strong, I"m a man, on it goes. What are we chopped liver- our money is no good? Malzan, Franklin, the Cincy coach , any one of those would be ok with me. Franklin pulls Vandy to 8-4, that alone should should qualify him for the Hall of Fame. Mahlzan would bring an exciting offense, the Cincy coach is a quality guy. Or maybe the Chief as HC ( the hat says he is ready-or he wants rid of him) and keep Chaney to the run the offense. Personally I dont like Grudens loud mouth- so I wasn"t too upset when he bailed.

Yea because our last couple coachs had great records against the best sec coaches.at least phil could beat kent and vandy,and the cupcakes

I thought there was a little too much drama centered around him yesterday. 40 plus minutes late for a meeting immediately followed by a brief statement saying that he will have a press conference the following day.

Wasn't impressed with that at all and am glad he stayed at Louisville.

Ark just hired the best coach in the Big ( slow) Ten. Why are our ADs always letting us down? Who hires these guys anyway? Mike Hamilton should be in jail for murder. He has killed our beloved football program. Iam reserving judgment on MrHart : so far, he has not made a great impression, but we will see.

Petrino has learned his lessons and he has won everywhere he has been. Even if he leaves after getting UT back to the top 15, we are still better off. Plus- he will work cheap for a little while.
