2x it’s happened so far this season. Low IQ basketball plays will end your season quickly in a tournament sport. That’s something they just can’t have happen again.Maybe I’m weird but I have some trouble believing we foul half court shooters in March. I kinda think we’ll keep improving, especially if we can stop playing top 30 defenses on KenPom
The 5-12 upsets haven’t been as prominent the last several years. If you look at every tournament after 2014 you’ll see:Yeah if we win those 3 games and drop a couple to like Arkansas or Miss State, then that should hopefully balance out in terms of NCAA seed. I just really don't want a 5 seed to play a 12 seed again
Yes. A good coach would have this team top 10.
Not moving anything. Anything less than a top 10 finish for this team is a failure.I see you are doubling-down on this being a loaded roster...lmao. I like to deal in facts and reason and there is literally nothing that supports your opinion other than your opinion...not the preseason projections and sentiment nor any credible valuation of this team at this point in the season. I take the second part of your statement to mean you want to move the goal posts.
No one's buying the act, anymore. In the small chance that it isn't an act, then it's clear that you just have some delusional expectations and your attempts to justify/support them are all over the map dependent on how well they do/don't strengthen your garbage argument. No one is taking you seriously because you constantly alter and shift what bits of information are relevant based on how they conveniently align with your takes.Try again
So resetting a bit, Tennessee made it through the 10 game slate 6-4 which is what the expected record of a Top 10-15 team in that span would’ve been. The good news is that they’ve still yet to drop a game at home and all 6 losses are considered Q1 losses. The bad news is Tennessee hasn’t been able to get many Q1 wins which will likely limit their ceiling for seeding in the NCAAT. I’ve maintained 21-9(12-6) should be the goal to reach, it would exceed preseason projections, should have us around 3/4 seed line (4 most probable), would almost certainly be Top 4 SEC finish meaning double bye in SECT.
We are at 14-6(5-3) with 10 games remaining, so needing a 7-3 finish or better to reach that mark, here’s the slate…
Texas A&M Q2
@ South Carolina Q2
@Mississippi State Q1
Vanderbilt Q3
Kentucky Q1
@ Arkansas Q1
@ Missouri Q3
Auburn Q1
@ Georgia Q3
Arkansas Q2
At a minimum 3-1 has to be record over next 4, a loss at Mississippi State doesn’t hurt you but definitely shrinks your margin of error.
