NFL Draft Thread

Ask yourself how many games MH has missed in his NFL career.

I don't need to but he will be 35 this season and weighs 185, they needed a wr as much as any position.

They are as thin at that position as any on the team.

Maybe the Colts know Simon will be back and that is why they didn't draft a d-lineman.

I will not disagree they could find a wr in the 3rd round but the same could be said for any postion.

Bad draft pick by Philly.

I think he has the tools to be a really good QB. It's a big gamble, but at least he'll have time to learn behind McNabb. I think the Eagles also have AJ Feeley in place to take over if Donovan gets injured. AJ isn't that good, but he's got a lot of experience in he Eagles system, so they won't need Kolb to contribute right away even if McNabb gets hurt again.

:good!: They a 35 year-old-starter and no depth. It doesn't take a lot to figure out they need a wr.

Their defenses had one of the worst seasons against the run in years. They need a LB and a DT more than anything. They have plenty of offensive firepower. They could wait another year to find Marvin Harrison's heir. He just went to the freaking Pro Bowl.

I hate when teams draft for the future when they, potentially, have a team that can win now. That is what I feel like Philly just did. McNabb may request a trade.

I highly doubt he would do that. He wouldn't get near the interest after two injury-plagued seasons. Dante Culpepper is still fresh on everyone's minds.

i dont know if they made the right decision or not but i have no doubt he will be really good in Indy. When was the last time Indy drafted a bust on the offensive side of the ball?

They got that RB from Wisconsin a few years ago. He never saw the field. Of course, that was like a 6th round pick.

They have three options for PM to throw to before the pick. I will go with history as they are not many 35 year ols wrs that can hold up over the entire season and playoffs. MH was almost a non-factor in the playoffs. The Colts use small speedy wrs and Gonzalez is a perfect fit.

Dungy and Polian are masters at finding guys later in the draft to plug in the defense.
