NFL or Bust??

Eric Berry succeeded because he had personal drive, Morley failed, not because he wasn't just as talented, but because he didn't have the desire and drive Berry did.

Eric Berry succeeded because he's a phenomenal athlete.

Bull.

Berry was faster, smarter and a much better tackler.

What does that crap have to do with football? It's a game based solely on desire and work ethic. That explains Randy Moss having a Hall of Fame career.

:eek:lol:

If one of my professors got paid 2 million, I'd say he should.

Sorry, but if our coaches have to always be $2 million dollar babysitters, we will stuck for quite sometime, no matter who the coach is. If these kids don't want to give their all for UT, without holding a cattle-prod to their hindparts, then again, we will suck for quite sometime.

What? You're saying the difference at Florida between what Meyer and Zook got out of the same guys isn't simply that some magic inner light came on for those guys when the coaching change happened? That's crazy.

They all decided, at one time, to try harder for themselves.

Who are you kidding, Morley was the number 1 defensive back in the country coming out of high school. He was rated ahead of Kenny Phillips who is now a starter in the NFL. Too bad Morley didn't care about school or reading a playbook. Morley was on the same plane as Berry as far as talent, Berry just combined hardwork and smarts with his talent which made him a great player.

You have no idea what a college head football coach does.

They're babysitters, teachers and surrogate parents all rolled into one.

Some can do it, some can't.

You're lost. Morley wasn't as fast and was lower rated out of HS than Berry was.

Funny that Miami didn't really put any effort into recruiting Morely and took Phillips. I'm sure it had nothing to do with teachers and youth coaches who had dealt with Morley telling any coach who would listen he was an idiot, a cancer, and a wildly overrated player. Guess Trooper Taylor just wasn't listening.

Fulmer spent the majority of the time doing that the last few years of his career, worked out well for him.

Dooley is a no-BS guy, which is what we need. Fulmer and Kiffin both were WAY too soft on players, and Fulmer recruited the wrong players to play here for the most part.

No you are lost. Morley was the number one rated, 5 star defensive back coming out of high school. He had NFL first round talent for a safety, which is pretty good. Just go look at rivals or scout or espn for class of 2005 if you need proof.

I take it you've never been around elite athletes at all.

No.

It's not really even close either.

Did your professor at UT hold a pep rally for your midterms?? Did he show up at 2am in order to motivate you for that quiz the next day. Absurd isn't it??

Fulmer wanted to be buddies not a coach.

Kiffin was 100x stricter than Fulmer. There is no comparison.

Let me know who was the highest rated DB in the history of the rankings.

Morley was almost as overrated as Vinson.

Oh, look. Morely had stars. That's far more important than the fact he got spun like a top in coverage twice a game and couldn't tackle a 10 year old. It's not about actual production. It's about what Tom Lemming says.

An idiot and a cancer which made him overrated. Thanks Hat.

Saying Kiffin was soft on the players is a just a flat out lie. There's no other way to characterize it.
