You should read some of the gems from any thread with the name "fulmer" in themYeah, shame on Dooley for not being able to put together a top 5 class with 2 weeks on the job before signing day.
I've read some ignorant stuff on this board, but your posts are on a whole new level of ignorance.
In the end, the players play. Fulmer didn't move his arm in a forward motion and release a ball in the direction of a Wyoming defender multiple times, that was Stephens. Fulmer didn't go 3/9. Stephens did all of that, and single-handedly secured a victory for the Pokes.
In 2008, who was the better QB?
J. Crompton 8 98.13 86-167-5 51.5 889 4 63 111.1
Nick Stephens 7 108.28 63-130-3 48.5 840 4 60 120.0
The good news is, despite reservations here, Simms will have better QB numbers than this.
The only person to blame the 2008 recruiting class on is Fulmer.

That class was rough. Had that class (and the few before it) been of a higher quality, and his coaching ability not gone into the toilet (pandering to the boo birds, putting sub-par quality onto the field), we wouldn't be in the hell hole we're in now.
Probably the guy playing for the Chargers, not the guy playing for the college in the town where Chainsaw Massacre was filmed.
He wasn't fired in order to go 12-0 in 2 years. He was fired because many of us were sick and tired of the acceptance of mediocrity.
Oh, and also because he couldn't coach anymore.
Really? Great trivia, kpt!
I'm one of the few voices who said Crompton would always find an NFL team. That was BEFORE the Georgia game too.
However, in 2008, zero separation from Nick Stephens, and, given the gulf in toolkit, suggests he was actually much worse.
Help me. What is trolling, exactly? How can I be a troll?
I mean, I know it's a public message board, and intellectual integrity isn't very meaningful, but isn't it just a LITTLE bit meaningful?
