No “God Bless the USA,” “In God We Trust,” on school posters.

Right...... you are the reason why people think Christians are insane.

:hi:

how is that? so saying a prayer in school? i know it's crazy, not a logical as teaching masturbation and homosexuality to 6th graders. or arresting and expelling kids who may draw a picture of gun: sayings it's within the zero weapons tolerance policy. :eek:k:

No, you prove my point by jumping to extremes that amount to nothing.

Saying a prayer or simply saying I believe in God does not change a persons heart.

In short, the personal relationship with Jesus is what matters and it is not the job of the government school system to witness to the lost. Churches and church members are lazy!

If you want to change to the world for Christ, start with your neighbor and go down your street.

In God we trust....a very interesting concept. This country was founded on moral christian principals and can not survive being a great nation without them. Are we going to put our trust in a government run by people only out for themselves? People who think we don't need God are crazy. Religion is man's attempt to define a concept as to how to worship and serve their God. God is real whether you or I believe it or not. How you worship or don't is your business, but to band speech or prayer anywhere is not what the founding fathers had in mind. The last 40 years have been a slide down the slope away from moral responsibility that if it feels good do it. Humans are not good naturally, like animals we will become a dog eat dog world without God.

Lee Greenwood is going to be pissed.

Hahaha! Sadly my mom sang back up vocals to Greenwood with the church choir at a Memphis Showboats game back in the mid 80's.

The pictures are awesome!!!

we're doomed.

Let's mandate prayer in all public and private places and kill those who disagree.

I know this is kind of "In your face" and I do NOT think that is the way to lead people to Christ, however, I was scheduled to read Dr. Seuss books to my sons K class and they have a moment of silence in the morning so the teacher says "Umm, Ok, it's time for a moment of silence" and I said "OR PRAYER". The teacher is a good friend and said it's ok if you say it, but not me.

My pledge poster that has One Nation Under God highlighted, will not, or never come down.
You do understand that the Pledge was written and lobbied for by Socialists and that the words "Under God" were not originally part of such pledge, right?

Wouldn't mixing a government school with one's personal religion be expanding government into one's personal life?

It seems that a majority of the time most of the people who want government to promote religion are small government conservatives.....correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm for the government being as little part of my life as possible, regardless of religion. I've always voted R, but this topic with most Republicans has always left me wondering.

I knew the second part, but not the first.

I disagree. It would be interesting to see what evidence you have of this. This notion that without religion we would all go out raping, killing, and stealing our neighbors pornography is silly.

Good people will be good. Bad people will be bad. Irregardless of a belief in God or not.

I'm struggling with this part.

Beep, beep. How does one determine who is good and who is bad?
