If someone had not watched the game, and you showed them that pick and the phantom elbow at end of game and asked them which one was called a flagrant - would bet at least 80% would get wrong.

I enjoy Geno losing. Not because I disregard or disrespect what he has done as a coach, but simply because I think he is a classless individual. You can respect his accomplishments without respecting him.

What's sad is that UT fans now have to rejoice in the failures of UConn instead of winning championships themselves. I knew Pat wouldn't/couldn't coach forever, but the reality of our current situation is still hard to comprehend. Never dreamed UT would fall to such depths.

Because the 1 seed was utterly dominant and the overwhelming favorite to win it all. Nobody thought Mississippi State had a shot regardless of their seed. If you're going solely off seeds, then Harvard beating Stanford would be the biggest upset ever, but considering the streak, the team records going into in, the eye test all season and the magnitude of the game, there's no question it's one of the biggest ever.

Also, in the men's game, Duke beating UNLV in 91 is widely regarded as one of the biggest upsets ever and that was a 2 vs a 1. Seedings aren't everything when determining the magnitude of an upset.

Miss. State outplayed Uconn most of that game, and for that I hope they win the title. They deserve it. I like both SEC teams, but I think State deserves it more IMO. But go "WEAK" sec lol. I laugh when people say the SEC is a weak conference. What will people say now?

I am happy that MIss State won because Uconn fans on the boneyard trashed Miss State when Tennessee beat them on senior night at Miss State. Only fitting that Uconn turns around and lose to them in the final four. I love it! I am sure the hospitals in Connecticut are filled with Uconn fans that are suffering lol. If any fanbase in the country deserves to suffer humiliation after all of their "grand standing",it's the Uconn fanbase. They have no respect for any other program in the country. Can barely give credit to other teams, or their players, not that their validation is needed. That's why they got bit by the bulldog.

In this game, Vic schooled Geno. I have a new found respect for Vic. I don't think he stopped coaching that entire game. He fought for his players to. Go Bulldogs!

Thought you must have missed it or you would have responded. Ugly and unnecessary comment about WBB, couple of posters responded (whoever had the look in mirror post was spot on:)). It was post #64...but it is gone now. As it should be. Guess one of the mods "answered" the "question". It was certainly not according to Hoyle, or forum guidelines. Probably just as well you didn't see it:birgits_giggle:.

Well mercifully the Lord spared me that one! Meanwhile, you can head over to Diamond's thread and see me getting pissed off at the Holly haters who can't even let us enjoy Diamond's great news without starting in on HW. I have edited cussing out of two of my posts, but it's not looking good. 😳

It's pathetic. People have a right to feel how they feel but there is no need to say it on every comment on every thread. It's a shame we can't celebrate Diamond's great news without it.

You just stated one of the biggest upsets for the men's. Not the greatest upset, like every women analyst said the other day. There are so many other games in the men's games that are real upsets that I don't know if I'd classify the duke game a top ten upset. The game is in poor shape when a two versus one is the greatest upset of all time.

Also, I'm entitled to my opinion. You attacked me so **** off. I am not changing and I don't give two ****s about your opinion. So bye.

Probably the biggest upset of all time in the NCAA tourney is Villanova over Georgetown. Georgetown was loaded that season with Ewing at center and an AA at every position.

UCon came into this season with the lineup that analysts, from day one, said would be Geno's weakest team in years. They knew then what we see now.

NOT the biggest upset if it was seen months ago

Miss St shows you to value of a solid point guard. Their point guards ability to distribute the ball and score from her position is why they are such a good team. If we'd had a point guard like her we'd be in the final four this season.
