No QB in this class as of right now....

The real reason why we should be able to get Mossakowski if we pursue, is this years end of the season starting QB was Randall Cobb, True Freshman, and backed up by Hartline whom was a Soph. Also with the recruiting of Morgan Newton they are looking more into the spread formation.....this is also evident with the last 3 years prior to this with Woodson

Well, you got to love Coach Kiffin's way of handling things...Petty still has plenty of time to get himself in a school and Coach just wont settle for a #31 QB...Our roster already has plety of average QB's...He is demanding Excellence, I like it

He apparently sees something in the 3 quarterbacks UT has, that nobody else does. If they don't play better he's going to get egg on his face, as already said.

Did he tell him he didnt fit or did he tell him they really did not want him.
Hope he has something up his sleeve.

Kiffin seems to have a plan....if you don't fit the plan....then, thanks but no thanks. Think the current players are getting the message that it's my way or the hi-way.

Good or bad....Tennessee now has a HC with a vision and balls.

Ryan Mossakowski from Frisco, Texas. -- Centennial High School
6'4" 201 lbs on Rivals 4 * QB

JR stats -- 283-444 ( .637 ) for 3,019 yards. He passed for 19 touchdowns and 13 picks.

I hope they look at this young man...verbal to Kentucky, Kiffin may just be heading to Texas to throw him the sales pitch

13 picks and just 19 tds.........

oh no..some here will lambast this guy for that. I'm sure his WR's were high school All-Americans.:birgits_giggle:

I think if CLK doesn't think the guy is clearly superior to BJ (who's not that bad), he won't offer a QB this year.

You are wrong. He is terrible. Crompton at 10% still has more potential than BJ. Do you guys not get that he should be at UTC not UTK? Just because he get a little publicity from the Inet board folk doesn't make him good.

Wow Phil, how you get Coleman isn't that good after the limited action he saw this year is beyond me. I think that Stephens is better that Crompton and the jury is still out on BJ.

I can't see Kiffin putting all the time required into getting Crompton up to speed at this stage with only one season left.

Sorry... just being honest.

Of course, my opinion is meaningless. If CLK feels the way I do about JC, all indicators are that he'd tell him.

Once we get into Spring drills and workouts, we will know more. We are all just speculating, but it's fun. :)

It's actually PHI, but everyone makes that mistake. Well I'm basing it off when I saw him countless times in high school. I dated a chick while at UTC that went to GPS, so we were at alot of McCallie games. The guy put up some decent numbers against crappy teams, and the next thing you know he isn't a 2 star anymore. Which is really what he should be. He might be able to lead us to a decent season, but if we want to be competitive at all he will not do. His arm strength is far too weak for a SEC QB. In my opinion of course...

I guess you could say, from your comments, that both Coleman and Crompton were overrated coming out of HS.

That is a great point. Lane is building a future and Crompton has already proved that as a junior with more experience he could not even begin to understand this years O. Stephens was not great, but did look like he had a better grasp of what was going on, and BJ did not get a chance. May be a new guy who knows. I will be surprised if it is JC.

I agree. He doesn't seem to want a running QB either in this offense (Coleman). My guess is Nick Stephens will be the man.
