If it takes an MBA to take a fragment of a sentence, extract it, change the meaning, and take it out of context, then you have earned exactly what most people know as a worthless degree scribbled on little more than toilet paper.......

What do you guys think about Tyrik Rollison from Texas? I don't really see us recruiting him because he is a Dual-Threat QB, but he can obviously throw the ball. It looks like he throws a lot more than he runs. As as Junior he had 3,691 yards passing, 37 TD's, 10 INT, 69.9% Completion Percentage. He is also #58 on Rivals Top 100 and listed as the #2 most accurate QB. He was #101, but was move up recently. Like I say, doesn't seem like what we would be looking for since we passed on Boyd, but he currently is not committed anywhere. I was watching one of the Rivals videos from a Nike camp and they said the Dual -Threat QB in front of his name is deceiving. They said he can move well, but also throws a great deep ball, is very accurate and has very good arm strength. Just a thought.

I'm sure this guy is a longshot as well, but I doubt Kiffin would be afraid to go after him.
Richard Brehaut from CA. He recently jumped from like 136 on rivals to #56 Top 100. He was at the same camp as Tyrik Rollison, (see post above) and he put on a very impressive showing. He had all the attributes to be a great college QB.

Brehaut is probably unlikely as well, but Kiffin has got to have something up his sleeve. I feel like he is going to drop a bomb on us. I am still not counting out Aaron Murray or Ryan Mossakowski either.
Kiffin may try to get through 2009 with what he has. I think Coleman could be a quality SEC qb with the right coaching and maybe he thinks the same. He could be planning on signing a stud QB for the 2010 class.

This is very possible. Our next great QB could be on the team already. Who knows what might happen with some good development. I still feel like Kiffin has his eyes on somebody based on what coach Michael told Petty.
Not expecting it from Crompton but who thought Ainge would have the career he had after the 2005 season?
Boyd was just added to the Army AA game.

Imagine that... I know a lot of people disagree, but I think this really was a bad move on CLK's part.... I hope he doesn't land on the SEC..........
Looking at the top 12 pro style QBs, there are some possibilities:
12. Josh Nunes-originally committed to UT but switched to Stanford. Harbaugh will be gone soon. Nunes may leave as well. Kiff likes California QBs as well.
10. Zach Mettenberger/3. Aaron Murray-both committed to UGA who has taken a good QB in seemingly the last 5 classes. One may leave for early PT.
9. Ryan Mossakowski-better chance to get to the league: playing under Kiffin or playing under Brooks?
5. Tom Savage-committed to Rutgers but was originally looking hard at UT. You can bet that Stokes is in his ear to get him to look at us.
The others seem to be in a good position to stick.
11. Bryn Renner-committed to UNC. They are improving and Butch is an excellent recruiter.
8. Andrew Maxwell-committed to Michigan State. It's in his backyard and he could play early.
11. Allan Bridgford-committed to Cal. Same situation as Maxwell.
6. AJ McCarron-committed to Bama. See above.
4. Richard Brehaut-committed to UCLA. See above.
2. Garrett Gilbert-committed to Texas. See above.
1. Matt Barkley-committed to USC. See above.
