Nobody Likes Ted Cruz

Yes, completely ruining a man is worse than lying about charity
I'm not arguing anything like that, but just to be clear on what Trump did (as detailed in the links above), he and Melania attended a fundraising dinner for the "9/11 Fund" in October of 2001 that was $2,500 plate. He and Melania both went to this black tie affair and hobnobbed with the NYC social elite. They sat at Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Police Chief Bernard Kerik's table. They ate the upscale dinner which was served. A 2014 audit of the "9/11 Fund" should have revealed a $2,500 donation from both Donald Trump and his then-fiance Melania Knauss, but it didn't, because they never actually followed through on the mandated $2,500 pledge, to attend this dinner, and made the expected payment. Basically, it was just a free meal for them.

Also, Trump has boasted over making a $10K pledge to this same fund... a low amount for someone who is a billionaire, but still a generous gift. Howard Stern commended Trump on the air for this, but despite the public pledge, once again... Trump never followed through and actually wrote a check to the 9/11 Fund for payment. As late as 2014, Donald Trump had still never given anything to the 9/11 Fund per multiple audits, despite these two separate pledges and his repeated lies, claiming the contrary.

It's not just that Trump boasted and lied about donating to such a worthwhile charity... the guy is a mooch! LOL. Say whatever you want to about Biden, that is pretty damn low and hard to beat on any "lowlife chart".

... but the Republican Party isn't really "The Cult of Trump", remember? LOL!

Sen. Mike Rounds is getting mercilessly attacked as a "RINO" by Republicans across the board right now, just because he had the nerve to say that the 2020 Presidential Election was fair. Unbelievable.

Who's Mike Rounds?

Yes, running a man's life by lying and blaming him for your wife's death is worse than getting a free meal.

The only thing you have proven is that you do not have the ability to separate yourself from your own biases enough to have a clear view of my positions.
No. Not at all. Everyone has biases. Awareness of one's own biases help keep a person honest. You don't really show any signs of being aware of your biases. You excuse Dems for things that you condemn Trump for.

You've been pretty consistent doing that through the portion of this thread that I've participated in. If that is somehow not indicative of your norm... then it should be pretty easy to disprove. You should be able to point to a post for instance where you condemn Biden's threats toward Ukraine or the deal his son got after flying on AF 2 to China as a "guest" on official state business.

At a very minimum you could acknowledge the clearly racist statements and actions made by Biden without rationalizing them. You could acknowledge the many bald faced lies he's told. So where have you done that? And did that lack of character keep you from voting for him?

That sure sounds like hyperbole to me.

If a man's life can be ruined, just by another man's words, then he didn't really have much of a life anyway. "Toughen up, Buttercup!"

If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about just say so

I doubt it will be a candidate that close to the center, but maybe if the repubs nominate Romney.
They did that once and the media and your friends said Romney was an evil capitalist sexist racist who would put black people in chains and go after Russia

That was all that I took the time to address with that one post, but you really can't call it a fact that Joe Biden broke up Jill's marriage unless you were there and have heard from both sides. It's probably something that both Joe and Jill would deny... and when it comes to something that personal in nature - it's really none of your business, anyway, even if true.

Glad you are aware that Jill's husband at the time helped Joe win his first position. He was a shade tree union guy. Shortly after Joe and Jill were playing house.

I'm aware of what Stormy Daniels was doing for a living .... when she played "doctor" with Donald, while Melania was preggers.

I know what you're talking about... and to say that ruined the guy's life is BS hyperbole. The guy was looking for sympathy.
That's cute. But string a guy up for getting a free meal

Very telling that Biden has never corrected his story even when called out by local officials.

It's also very telling that Trump continues to boast about his philanthropy, even in light of audits which have revealed no donations to charities.

Lying about custody giving is more egregious than lying about killing a person? Just so we're on the same page

Again, you're simply wrong.
Let's do this.
You accuse me of excusing democrats (bolded)
And then say I have been consistent through this thread (bolded)
It should be easy to show where I have excused any democrat.
Post any of my excuses and then we can continue our discussion on recognizing our own biases.

I think you're attacking some straw men with this. I definitely don't remember Romney being accused of racism. I remember him being ridiculed by Obama and others for identifying Russia as our top geopolitical threat. He has been proven right... but Romney is a devout Mormon. Aside from perhaps dodging the Vietnam draft, there aren't many points to be scored against his character.

Who's Mike Rounds?
Evidently "a jerk" according to Trump; and one he will never again endorse, unless of course Rounds bends a knee.

Republican Sen. Mike Rounds dismisses Donald Trump's attack

Comments from Rounds:
said in a statement that he was “disappointed but not surprised by the former president’s reaction” to his comments.
“However, the facts remain the same. I stand by my statement. The former president lost the 2020 election,”
“This isn’t new information. If we’re being honest, there was no evidence of widespread fraud that would have altered the results of the election,” the lawmaker added.
Rounds said Pence “acted with integrity” in standing his ground against Trump’s request and added that it is time for the rest of the GOP to “do the same.”

“As a Republican party, our focus should be on what lies ahead, not what’s in the past. Elections are about growing support for your party, not further dividing it,” he said. “Attacking Republicans certainly isn’t going to result in a winning formula. Neither is telling citizens not to vote. If we are going to win in 2022 and 2024, we have to move forward together.”

Comments from Trump:
Hours earlier, Trump had slammed the senator for his Sunday comments, calling him a “RINO” – Republican in name only.

“‘Senator’ Mike Rounds of the Great State of South Dakota just went woke on the Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020,” the 45th president said in a statement released by his Save America PAC. “He made a statement this weekend on ABC Fake News, that despite massive evidence to the contrary, including much of it pouring in from Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and other states, he found the election to be ok—just fine. Is he crazy or just stupid?”

“Even though his election will not be coming up for 5 years, I will never endorse this jerk again,”

And some on here think Trump is the one deserving of your support.....sad.

Again, you're simply wrong.

Right. You are attempting to shift the burden... to evade. Fact- Joe Biden is a profound liar. Fact- Donald Trump is a profound liar. I have seen you condemn Trump strongly for being a liar. Can you show where you've acknowledged the same about Biden?
