I'm not arguing anything like that, but just to be clear on what Trump did (as detailed in the links above), he and Melania attended a fundraising dinner for the "9/11 Fund" in October of 2001 that was $2,500 plate. He and Melania both went to this black tie affair and hobnobbed with the NYC social elite. They sat at Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Police Chief Bernard Kerik's table. They ate the upscale dinner which was served. A 2014 audit of the "9/11 Fund" should have revealed a $2,500 donation from both Donald Trump and his then-fiance Melania Knauss, but it didn't, because they never actually followed through on the mandated $2,500 pledge, to attend this dinner, and made the expected payment. Basically, it was just a free meal for them.Yes, completely ruining a man is worse than lying about charity
Also, Trump has boasted over making a $10K pledge to this same fund... a low amount for someone who is a billionaire, but still a generous gift. Howard Stern commended Trump on the air for this, but despite the public pledge, once again... Trump never followed through and actually wrote a check to the 9/11 Fund for payment. As late as 2014, Donald Trump had still never given anything to the 9/11 Fund per multiple audits, despite these two separate pledges and his repeated lies, claiming the contrary.
It's not just that Trump boasted and lied about donating to such a worthwhile charity... the guy is a mooch! LOL. Say whatever you want to about Biden, that is pretty damn low and hard to beat on any "lowlife chart".
