Georgetown playing UConn close in Q1 but UConn blew it wide open in Q2.

I personally am super unimpressed with Ice. Contributes very little, fouls a lot.

Freshman Morgan Cheli really impressed me in the first half. Came out ready to go and helped big with the momentum shift for UConn. She should play more going forward IMO.

Yes! And they can all shoot! My first time watching them this season and they look excellent.

Really unimpressed with UNC as usual. Not a healthy program either. That’s a tiny gym and it’s less than a third full from the looks of things. Banghart gotta go. She has a decent roster and they look awful, on offense in particular.

I agree. I’d go with Guyton or McCabe and put Stuelke at the 5. She’s more comfortable there anyway. O’Grady is just in the way half the time. Too slow footed.

For all the small talk from a few casual fans attempting to discredit the NC Central performance various game analysts, opposing players, fans etc. are taking notice of the Lady Vols.

Kellie Jolly Harper is a proud native Tennessean and a Lady Vol For Life, and so I have no doubt she is proud today of what the team was able to do yesterday. Of course there's likely a bittersweet taste to it all, but there's probably nobody who wants more for the program to be successful than Kellie.

She did her best and I'll always admire and appreciate her. I have so many wonderful memories that involve Kellie, and those will always be special.

I don’t think she affects the game to a very high degree. She can get her shot in the midrange but doesn’t make others around her better. Not a great passer, not a good rebounder, poor defender.

UNC's students are on their winter break but they have always had a tepid crowd.
UNC has trimmed the lead to 12.

Yeah I’ve been watching. They turned up their defense and it made a difference. Gakdeng is a really nice player. Great athelticism and mobility. I’ve been perennially unimpressed with Ustby. She seems to play like this every time I watch her.

Not a quality opponent but Striplin had another really nice game for Indiana. 18 points on 7-10 shooting and 8 boards. Seems like she may come along for them as the season progresses. Really happy for her.

She’s a player I do miss, she would have been great in this system with her shooting touch and willingness to bang in the paint when needed.

Louisville is so young this season. Terribly inconsistent. They had Walz micd up the other night and he was very docile and gentle with them. Can tell it’s going to be a season of growing pains for them.

He tried the portal for a couple years and decided to go back to traditional and has like 8 freshman or something crazy like that.

I agree! Something I’m really proud of for our program. Recently our transfers have been graduates already.

We did have the exodus of that 2017 class but that was really it.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Kim Mulkey just sitting on the bench not coaching or pacing the floor. Either she’s fed up with her team at the moment, or something else going on. So far, not impressed by LSU.
