How do you figure Dawn is on top of women's basketball right now? She didn't win the National Championship, she didn't win the regular season SEC title and she lost to Missouri last week. She has done a great job there but being on top is a lot more than what she has been doing. Certainly has dominated the SEC in recent years, but otherwise from there the resume is far weaker with only one title meaning in like 14 seasons of coaching at SC someone else has won the National Title.

Non-LadyVol Basketball news is a three team posting spot. Regular posters of Tennessee Lady Vols, SC and UConn and that is it. We never see any other conference teams post here for any reason. I think we used to have a couple from Baylor, but they left when Mulkey left Baylor. Oh yes we have the one Georgia poster occasionally post here as well. Always happy for his post as he gives us news we can use.

Does anyone know why UConn has not been playing their games? I guess im open to speculation, but I also would like to know the rules regarding postponement and forfeiture. It seems like lots of teams still play with individuals out due to protocol, and UConn despite their injuries still should have plenty of players to field a team.

14 player roster to start the season.
2 transfers leaving 12.
5 injuries leaving 7.
3 Covid infections leaving them under the 7 you have to have available to play.
One injured player and 2 Covid players back giving them 7 players so they are playing a game Sunday.

No nefarious ducking of games as some here would like to believe.

So since you are still here? How's rutgers? How's their record? How's their transition to their new coach? Any word on when/if stringer will return? Biggest question have you just been lurking around not posting ? With you saying the LV have had your respect and their success you would think you might have posted but havent ....

Feel free to actually post about the team you are a "fan" of.. But maybe you have been posting about your favorite team since you always post about uconn. Maybe i was mistaken in your fandom of Rutgers and if i was mistaken and you are a uconn fan that makes much more sense and i am sorry for being confused ...
