Arkansas lost their first game of the year 85 -78 to Oregon.
That game went almost exactly like Tennessee's against Stanford. Arkansas up 4 points after 3 quarters only to get beat by 11 in the fourth to lose by 7.
Ohio St making a comeback (Now down only 1, despite Mikesell's (0-10) shooting.

She does that off and on. For her entire career she’ll occasionally throw up a goose egg game.

Courtney does not have the players, either in size or athleticism to compete well vs. really good P5 teams this year. She is a good coach, but she isn’t in the Ivy League anymore, she needs to step up her recruiting. I suspect she is in the process of doing that, she can coach.

I think they actually have quite a few four and five stars (Key, Kelly, McPherson plus others) with the #5 class coming in headlined by #4 recruit Toomey. They're not hurting for talent.

Colorado is beating Marquette 26 to 4 in the second quarter. Hard to believe because Marquette has wins over Gonzaga and Texas. What suddenly happens to teams is hard to explain. Kentucky had to eek out a win over a really bad Ohio team yet they played Va Tech and eight point game before losing.

I sure am ready for conference play to begin, some of these OOC games really lack any sense of competition. I get that there are always games in the early part of the season that just won’t be very attractive to watch for every team but Lord knows it’s time to move on now to better matchups all around the country. LV’s were one of the exceptions this season, they had the toughest schedule in the nation IMO so far, kudos to them.

Oregon just got blasted as well. They don’t have the players this year they need at this level either. NC has some ballers, just not enough size or athleticism this year. Courtney can only do so much with that group. She is recruiting elite now so I suspect their fortunes change in the next couple of years.

Hasn't she been recruiting elite since she got there basically ? She had the number 2 class in 21' (mcpherson has been injured and teonni is now playing). 22' she got Paulina Paris who was a top 30 kid and a jordan brand all american. She had a few all conference players transfers to her. So she hasn't really been hurting for talent. But she probably could use more quality depth. We took a beating with our schedule but the one thing we can say is we are/have developed some depth.

Lol, I’m sure you do feel that way as a South Carolina fan. That 102-39 win over Coastal Carolina wasn’t exactly riveting, was it? However, lots of teams have had highly competitive games during the OOC schedule but if I was a Gamecocks fan I would be bored to death too.
