Based on what? Certainly not what she has showed in college, and she hasn't played in almost 2 years...she won't be improved off the bench right away. She is no where near as quick or as good on defense.Hopefully she gets her act and game together, but it will be a big drop off for SC this season.Tea Cooper is much better.
And for the next 4 years she'll be a thorn on the side to a lot of teams.

As good as she's been, I just feel like TAMU should be better than they are with Carter, Williams, Howard and Hillsman. Each of those four is probably top 4 in conference at their respective positions.
I hadn't paid too much attention to them except up until now. I do know Hillsman their post player is supposed to be good and she's a senior i believe.
Anyway it looks as though the Aggies has their go-to-player and can win games.
Good for the SEC!
Oregon hammered Ole Miss 90-46 in Eugene today. Ionescu broke the Pac-12 record with her 7th triple double--21 points, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds--and third this year. She is now tied for the NCAA record (7) and will doubtless break that, since she's only about 1/3 of the way through her sophomore year. This was the second game of what seems to be an SEC invitational for Oregon, with the third later this week in Las Vegas against A&M, whom the Ducks beat by 15 in College Station earlier in the season.
ideally I want our freshmen to win but as for today Chennedy Carter has been playing lights out!
I remember her during the McDonald high school all star game. She was exceptionally good and she's proving that she's the real deal. Good on her!
Showing some SEC Love.
It's Christmas us Lady Vol fans should be all smiles. This time last year we all had upside down smiles. So No yawns. :good!:
We also have 3 freshmen who are letting their Senior leaders get theirs before they try to score!
There has been several times Davis couldve scored yet she gave it up to Russell or Nared,
Same with Westbrook or Hayes, they attack the rim and dish to Russell or Nared when they could score it themselves!
So far Carter hasnt look to pass/get it to anyone but herself which has been the knock about her throughout high school is that shes more of a Me first player

Two mindsets to defend such a team:
1. One is to stop everyone else and let the star get theirs... thinking one person cannot beat a team by themselves .
2. Concentrates on stopping/slowing down the star and assuming the others are not that good enough to beat you!
The difference between Knox and Carter is that Knox was a pass first PG and Carter is a scorer. Knox was able to get Williams and Hillsman a lot of easy looks, and while Carter can score points in a hurry, it seems to be hurting the productivity of her teammates. She needs to find a way to balance her scoring with getting her teammates more involved.
Carter is still averaging 5 assists per game which is very good and top 5 among all SEC players.
And about half of what Curtyce Knox averaged. In the games I've seen this year, Williams and Hillsman don't look as good as they did last year. The offense just doesn't look as crisp. They've even resorted to having Williams handle playmaking at times, which completely kills her offensive game.
