The difference of media coverage for each was sad to see.
it also validates our win against marquette in cancun. This was also on Notre Dame's home court.
Notre Dame didn't look good in that game. They took a lot of quick shots and let alot of open shots happen. I wouldn't be surprised if we won that game, though we will have to guard Arike and Jessica Shepard, and also handle defensive pressure.
I just looked at the box score for Oregons 84-62 win over TAMU and the Aggies bench was held scoreless, in addition to starter Lumpkin. That means only 4 TAMU players scored in the game. Beyond impressive! Blair better work on that bench production for SEC play.
Oregon just got slapped hard by ncaa. It will be a surprise if they dont have to clean house of coaches for womens and mens basketball. We will surely schedule one of the 2 big oregon schools, keeping the home visit game tradition alive.Blair also said that "This is the best offensive team I have played in two years. We've played them twice and haven't been able to slow them down." Given what seems to be an unending state of Oregon/Lady Vol pipeline, I think it would be great for both teams to play one another sooner rather than later.

NCAA stated both Oregon basketball coaches fostered an envirnoment of non compluance. Basically what they said about Pearl. These are very serious charges. It will be hard to not fire them. Oregon is fighting the claims, but that seldom works. It appears there is more to their findings than what was self reported. It is about the atheletic departments culture and rampent non compliance. Lambs will be sacraficedSince the NCAA works in ways that only it can understand (the North Carolina fiasco, for example), it's always possible that there will be major penalties. But, in the case of WBB, I think not. The allegation is hardly the stuff of legend--"It is alleged that from December 2016 through April 2017, the women's basketball program permitted an assistant strength and conditioning coach to participate in on-court basketball-related activities with the women's basketball team. As a result of the assistant strength and conditioning coach's participation in the coaching activities, the institution exceeded the numerical limitation of four basketball coaches"--and the violations themselves were self-reported and new procedures put in place to prevent a recurrence. A "slap on the wrist" seems reasonable, but, then, it is the NCAA.
