criticism doesnt mean you hate the program the players or the coach. bottom line every failure or victory is the coaches responsibility and she would agree with that. questioning why fundamentals have continued to plague their play is on the coach. lack of an offensive system that plays to the strength of the team is on the coach. like Key getting few touches while other players do this i can do it on my own crap game in and game out. this team has so many careless unforced turnovers every game. thats on the coach. i love this team and have been very vocal about the upside and the downside. i have said in the past that i thought Darby had no business on the floor. And i ate my crow to that one. She has proved my wrong. She started moving on offense hunting her shot and she has become a good rebounder and defender. But whats hurting this team right now is lack of leadership. Call me crazy but i think going into this season Burrell thought she was the leader or one of the leaders of this team and it all fell to Horston. Now that Burrell is back she is forcing the game instead of letting it come to her. And Horston is trying her best to shoulder the weight and sometimes she forces it as well. Walker shows up one game for 17 points and disappears for the next 3 or 4 games. And Green was apparently the true leader of this team because her injury coincides with this losing 3 of 4. I have confidence Harper is the right coach for the job. But bottom line win or lose the Coach is the one responsible for the team. Hopefully she figures out what the issues are and gets them back on track. Time to take down those Tigers and they are going to be tough even in Knoxville.
Not buying your motivation.
