i don't agree with alot of the fundamentals the unions have. i have worked for union and non union and didn't have a problem with either of them. i will say i agree that people have a right to collective bargaining and a corrupt govenor should not be able to take that away from them.

sure people should be able to try and bargain, collectively or otherwise, but it's every bit as corrupt to force businesses to listen to them as it is to quell them.

The fact that we have "right to work states" as part of our lexicon is pathetic. A company should have every right in the world to tell the unions to kiss its rear.

I agree. I think there are still cases where workers are taken advantage of - but there are so many cases (like GM) where unions cause labor to be paid way too much. too much bureaucracy and too much power being taken away from owners right now. I know my father, who owned a modular housing company, had a hell of a time dealing with the unions/worker's comp.

i can agree with some of this, unions should not be able to hold companies hostage. i have seen places though really give some workers the shaft on wages and insurance that were not union. it goes both ways. if you take care of your workers all is good, but alot of companies don't.

A great example of unions being a cancer is the Canadian postal workers union - they get 8 weeks vacation plus standard benefits. Ridiculous.

A runny dog turd would look good next to Obama, the fact remains he has a 53% disapproval rating

i think he will hold ohio due to the govenor and congress leaders in this state which even look worse than he does. also the repub nominees are nothing to get excited about.

And these employees have the right to work somewhere else.

With WI and OH, my understanding is that the governors were reining in public sector unions.

Why does that fact give employees the right to hold their employers hostage? In the public sector union context, why should they have the ability to hold taxpayers hostage?

Romney will sweep the floor with Obama in debates. I cant wait, it is going to be a disaster for the Obama and his admin to actually have to answer questions on his multiple failed policies.

Things are not getting better for the Obama Admin. Its only getting worse and he will continue to slide in the polls
