The injury to Kramer might be a blessing in disguise. Ever since Schuerrle has come on they've looked much more dangerous.

So does the losing team stay out there during the trophy presentation?

I couldn't see that ever ending well if we did that over here with our sports championship games.

Topnotch to see the sportsmanship from Germany.

Germany the champions that wouldn't be denied.
First ever Europe team to win in either of the two Americas.

Much like multiple movie genres Germany won in multiple different ways.

Um yeah to damn painful it's more salt in a open wound or blood on sunburns.
Makes me think of my high school football days still got medals for the runner up.

Great to see this decided without penalty kicks.

Michael with the skinny tie and reaction of Germany winning is priceless.
I won't be shocked if Mario's goal is in the top 5 of sc top 10.
I predict it is number one.

While he had 4 goals, he didn't score in any knockout round. Don't think he deserved it. Also thought Tim Howard should have won golden gloves. His Belgium performance was the best of the tournament.

Tim Howard could have won it, but the you have to admit that the German keeper has had a great WC. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Germany only allowed 3 or 4 goals in the whole tournament.
