Top 4, facing the top of the order

Some bad luck in that inning...Lee gives up two hits. The first hit the bag at 1B and bounced over the first baseman for a double. The second was a fly ball to CF and center fielder lost the ball in the sun for a triple and an RBI.

Still a very strong outing so far by Lee, game tied at 1-1.

Top 5, Lee facing 6,7,8 hitters

gives up a lead off single which looked like an E by the 2Bman, then he gave up a legit 2 out RBI Dbl...

Trailing 2-1 now...

Lee is done final stats: 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 4 SO

Stats don't do it justice, only one of the hits was solid...

He first pitch striked 9 out of the first 10 batters he faced, he only had 2 or 3 full counts...

Really strong outing for Lee.

In other news AJ has 2 hits and an RBI on the day so far...VJax with a successful SAC Bunt to move the runners...

Commentators discuss what a wonderful arm AJ has. They prefer a line-up where he is at SS, but he just made one hell of a play from 3B, no way he should've been able to make the throw in time but he did.

AJ went: 3 AB, 2 H, 1 RBI, .217 BA

VJax went: 2 AB, 1 H, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 HR, 1 SO, 1 HBP, .111 BA

Glad these guys had a good day, they were due.

Christin Stewart has gone 2 for 4 tonight, an RBI DBL and a 3 run Home Run. WOW! Team High 4 RBI's, top 7

Eric Martin comes on to close for the Bethesda Big Train tonight in the bottom of the ninth.

He K's all 3 batters! BOOM!

Brodie Leftridge comes into the game for the T-Bolts in the 8th inning nursing a 2-0 lead...gives up no hits, no runs and strikes out 2...NICE!

Post game, Team USA wins the game 10-4 but want to practice the international tie breaker, which Thomasville ends up winning. Stews final line:

5 AB, 1 R, 2 H, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBI

Miners have a non league game tonight, quite the line up change...Jordan Rodgers is batting in the 2 spot and playing 3B, he's been in the bottom of the order, mostly batting 9th. Senzel is playing 1B and batting 6th, it would really by nice if he could get it going tonight...

Lenstrohm comes on in the 8th for the Bucs: 1 IP, 1 H. 1 R, 1 BB, 2 SO

JYB comes on as a PR in the ninth for the Bucs...

Bucs lose 5-2 to the Oilers

For the Miners JRod goes: 4 AB, 1 R, Senzel goes: 4 AB, 1 H...Miners win 11-8

Getting ready to start long journey to Alaska to go see our guys in summer ball with @ABLMiners and @Anchoragebucs.

Christian Stewart appears to be putting on a show for USA.

Yep. I hope he can sustain it, Maddox started off hot (not this hot) last year but he didn't sustain it. I might be wrong, but nearly half the roster spots are already taken, so you've got a bunch of guys fighting for a few spots. If he can keep hitting like he is, he has a good shot of making the roster as a DH. I mean, he's out hitting Lance Bregman right now.

Team USA is making it's way through the Coastal Plains League and unfortunately there is no video for the games, audio and stats only, but I'll be keeping track of every at bat until he's either made the team or not.

Hopefully he can. He is just a better overall hitter than Maddox to me, and that is no insult to Will.

Stew with a lead off double in his first at bat...not sure if it will be ruled a single or a double, live stats say double...

AJ Simcox goes 1 for 3 with a run and an RBI, replaced in the 8th inning.

VJax comes in to the game as a PH, 2 on 1 out and hits an RBI single drawing Y-D within two runs of what looks like a football score, the Red Sox trail 16-14.

The guy that replaces Simcox K's ending the inning.
