Thanks for compiling all of this. With a couple of exceptions, our guys are off to slow starts. Hopefully they'll pick it up.

I'm not to worried about it at this point. After the Miners game last night, the coach was asked about Senzel's explosion at the plate. He said that when Senzel arrived he was worn out and banged up from his first college season. He said it was just the result of feeling better.

When I look at the list of guys, who is doing well, who is doing okay, thinking of who did what and when this year, it makes some sense.

For instance guys like Moberg and Lance really didn't play big roles, with Lance coming on at the end of the season. They didn't have the grind that some of the others like Senzel had.

Then there's the guys like Bramlett, Plunkett, Freeman, Vanderford, Charpie, Eric Martin, J. Rodgers who haven't played much ball in a year, either due to redshirting or being injured, etc...

In terms of the pitching, only a couple of guys have any sort of sample size, most are getting to pitch an inning a game every few days.

There's about a month left depending on the league, that's a lot of games, lots of opportunity.

All that said, I've been a little worried about the hitting, particularly for power and I'm still worried about that for next year. Sans Stewart and Senzel, I wonder where the extra bases will come from, hopefully someone else will step up.

Stewart just sent a 2 run homer over the wall in NC and it just landed on the roof of my house in Knoxville. 2 for 3 so far, announcer very impressed with Stewart, "The Volunteers have some kind of player".

1st rounder next year like I predicted earlier.

Enjoying the @Anchoragebucs game with Parker. Just not enjoying the rain. Vols in summer ball.

Uh..not tonight coach, no Vols played for the Bucs tonight and the Miners game got rained out...but the point is CDS is in Alaska and some good games coming up this weekend.

Is he recruiting you think. We have one spot in the '14 class to fill.

Good for him. Alaska is such a great place for vacation.

I don't know what to make of the blue font. Seems like the vacationing would be better than the recruiting. :p

Of the United States, I've never been to Alaska or Hawaii, been in all the rest... so I'm intrigued by them.

The blue font is the sarcastic tone in text. All Alaska has in it is snow, meth heads, and drunks.

USABaseball.com: News: CNT: Team USA takes down Wilson, 14-2

"It has been hot and kind of a whirlwind week for these guys, traveling from all over the country, practicing one day and starting to play the next. They are starting to get to know each other and I can see them starting to pull for each other. That's the way baseball is, you have to have a little camaraderie and I like what I am seeing out there."

The victory kept Team USA's record unblemished in five games this summer, all of which have included at least one extra-base hit from Christin Stewart (Tennessee) who launched his second home run in the win over the Tobs, finishing 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBIs and a run scored.

Stews line from tonight: 2 AB, 1 R, 1 H, 1 RBI, 3 BB, 2 SB, OB % .800

Another good night for Stew (DH) batting in the 2 spot.

Yeah, I'd say Stew is holding his own.

Owenby comes on in the 7th with 2 outs and a runner at 2B, walks the first batter, then hits the runner on 1B on a throwover and runner at 2B advances to 3B.

Runners on the corners and he gives up another walk. Base loaded, he gets the hook.

Final line: 0 IP, 1 R, 2 BB
