That sucks. So who are you looking forward to seeing this summer?
That's a great question, so far I can say that it is going to be much more difficult to WATCH games this year. The Bethesda Big Train is only audio, the SLO Blues are only audio, and it goes out...frequently...can't watch the Northwoods League as previously discussed... Probably no video for the guys in the Hamptons, no video for Josh Peterson in Gastonia...
Hopefully the Matsu Miners will do video again and the guys in the Cape, sometimes will have video...it's starting to look like it's going to be very difficult this year.
Or I should reword it, follow. Who are you looking forward to see grow?
Sorry, I didn't answer the question.
First I was hoping to see the guys I haven't seen at all like Vanderford, Freeman, Bramlett and Plunkett etc...
Second, I was hoping to see more of our guys in the Cape Cod League, which happened. It's going to be really interesting to see how VJax, Houser, Stew and AJ do against the best college pitchers in the country everyday.
Third, I'm really interested in seeing Owenby and Martin.
Finally, I love the Alaska Baseball League, though I'm up until 1or 2 AM for nearly every game...we have 6 players going there, at least I think we do...and they are playing for the two best teams in a league where each team plays each other a lot and the rivalries really intensify.
I don't think any of our players have reported to either the ABL or the Cape yet, probably this week sometime...that's when summer ball really starts for me.
Forrest Bramlett split time with the catching duties, he got 2 AB with 1 H, 1 R, 3 RBI, 1 SF, 0 SO, 0 BB in a 10-9 loss. Andrew Plunkett picked up his first start with the Riverbend Tomcats as well going 0-4, 1 SO and an E....
In other news, UT finally got around to releasing the destinations for 21 players. Tei Vanderford is not listed, however he is playing for the SLO Blues...3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, b/avg. .182....Jeff Moberg also on the Blues and listed to be there by UT has yet to play...
Trevor Charpie has made 3 appearances for the St. Cloud Rox, 6.1 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 SO, 1 W...

Well losing people in the Bronx is always fun
Chris Davis was 3 for 4 with four RBI and hit a go-ahead two-run triple in the sixth inning as San Luis Obispo defeated Neptune Beach 10-8 at home Wednesday in a summer collegiate baseball game.
Jeff Moberg was 4 for 5 all singles and scored three times for the Blues (6-2). Austin OBrien singled and tripled, driving in one run and scoring another.
Arroyo Grande grad Kyle Brown started the game on the mound, allowing six hits and four runs in 3 2⁄3 innings. Andrew Cheray and Zach Merciez both allowed a run in relief, and Blake Whitter earned the save.
The Cincinnati Steam (1-0)'s three first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 6-4 win over the Lexington Hustlers (0-1) on Thursday at Henry Clay.
The Cincinnati Steam scored in the first on an RBI double by Brian Bien and a two-run single by Jason DeFevers.
Derek Lance got on base four times in the game for the Cincinnati Steam. He singled in the first and fourth innings.
Phillip Diehl pitched lights out for the Cincinnati Steam. Diehl held the Lexington Hustlers hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
