Official Brexit Referendum Discussion

They British either do a hard exit or none at all at this point.

That's not correct. It's still quite possible to get a long enough extension to work out some kind of withdrawal agreement. It pretty clearly wouldn't happen with May in charge, but someone else could do it.

So what happens now? I find it unlikely they just go through a no deal brexit without attempting to change leaders first.

This sets the table for a series of votes on Wednesday to see parliamentary support for several options (softer Brexit, no deal, second referendum).

I'm not sure yet what the ballot is going to be.

Agreed. I think we’ll see how much the recent petition and protests have affected the politicians, too.

I think right now the debate is being driven by factions angling within parliament, rather than public pressure. That would change if there's a long extension.

None of the eight options got a majority today, which shows how divided everyone is on what should be done.

Political structure of the EU is a crap shoot. The UK had the third largest economy in the world. The gap closes tremendously if they free themselves of the EU parasite.

Again, someone should tell the UK that. It would save them a lot of confusion and humiliation.
