The NCAA doesn't like him but the committee isn't made up of ncaa officials. It's an assortment of ADs. I think his reputation is still pretty good across college athletics (although frankly I don't really know). ESPN commentators still love him.

That one is easy to know who to cheer for IMO. Iowa state is in the field easily and this point. We need Texas tech to fall off the bubble all together.

Miami is not safely in the tourney, a win would pretty much lock them down a spot, a loss keeps them on the bubble.
