Official Bubble Watch Thread

Does Virginia just not have an offense at all? I watched the final 4 mins plus OT and they looked like they didn't know what to do with the ball. They looked exhausted. Turrible

From what I gather the only mid-major leagues that could possibly steal bids...

A10: Dayton, VCU
MVC: Wichita State, Illinois State
C-USA: Middle Tennessse
Colonial: UNC-Wilmington
Sun Belt: Texas Arlington
MWC: Nevada

Honestly after this year I hope they
1) drop the play in games and go back to 64
2) get rid of the tourney champion auto berth

I just want to see the best 64 teams play for the championship

I wouldn't entirely count out a UVM team that lost in the America East finals to Albany (the bane of Vermont's existence) provided they don't drop one of their next two. How would their RPI look if that happened, bleedingTNorange?

Would be mid 40's, with 0 top 100 wins it would be hard to see them getting in

Just for reference, before tonight, Miami was 2-7 against RPI top 50 and 6-8 against top 100. UT is 2-8 and 8-11. Miami was not a lock, especially with the rest of their schedule.

Miami showed some heart tonight on the road. That was a tough fought game and they found a way.

No way. Wouldn't have had MTSU over Michigan state a year ago. Games like that make the tourney how special it is.

Here's to my 1,000th thought on VN.

BTO is the man. Thanks for the continued bubble info. And I say It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

They had 8 conference wins before tonight. All they needed was 1 more win to finish no worse than 9-9 in the ACC with a win earlier over North Carolina

I think Lunardi had them as a 8 or 9 seed before tonight's game
