In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.
How about we stipulate that MSNBC will cover the RNC convention in a critical manner while Fox will do the same for the DNC convention ? Save everybody some time.
I missed most of Last night. I saw Nikki Haley, Ann Romney and Chris Christie.
I was very impressed with Nikki Haley.
I don't think Ann Romney's speech helped that much. I think she came across well. She is a very attractive lady and did a good job of giving her speech. I feel it lacked substance. I think she tried too hard to make her and Mitt a nornal couple, that may hurt a little. Everyone knows they are filthy rich. There is nothing wrong with being rich, just embrace it.
Chris Christie is the man. I enjoyed how he delivered his speech. He comes across as a normal guy. He can communicate with the average American.
I have heard some bad reports by some of the media that he went too long before saying Romney's name.
I wish he was the nominee.
I look for Ryan to "bring it" tonight. I think he will give a fanastic speech.
I'm totally done, myself. I was registered an R so I could vote for RP, but the treatment of Gary Johnson in the nomination process, and the recent events leading up to, and during the RNC have proved to me that the GOP is not going to change. Going independent.
What a shock
