We have a habit of making almost any opposing QB look good. Even the ones that were wide receivers and converted to QB for the first time since HS. We could have swapped JG to the other guys and made him look like a Heisman candidate.

We won in 2016 when they were here for UT UF.

I feel like the last time they came was under Dooley when we were ranked going into this game. My friends and I were students and in the game day crowd. I know we lost that game. So I am kinda the same, would rather them not be there. We are tripled jinxed, cursed, and voodoo'd against UF, I loathe that everything seems to be lining up in our favor, it makes the let down that much worse. Any other game I would be fine, especially if it was against UGA, we play up to them, but Florida?

I didnt recall it either lol...but i avoid the gameday guys so wouldnt have watched. I used to always work half day on Saturdays unless we had a noon kickoff anyway. Rarely do so anymore though.

Dont like those guys though. Kirk fake cried on national TV , Corso sadly is a stroke or 2 past "fit for TV", etc.

Not really my jam. Wish they would find a way to retire Lee with dignity though. He deserves the best from that crap network, though i rarely have agreed with him or his love of donning the stanky gator head..

I think it is too long..the guys are goofs and jokes stink. Only reason I will watch is to catch the atmosphere. 3 hours is way too long.

And the Fowler/ Herbstreit crew is dull as dishwater.

I used to half ass watch, but finally gave up and started watching the SEC network game day show, which is just as bad. I just record it and skip through all the Bubba and Dog slurping segments and listen to their 20 seconds of TN coverage.

This article caught my eye as my former company did the same thing a number of years ago. In 20-20 hindsight, they would have spent millions less if they just let the employees keep the <$1000 over payments than the carnage they caused when equipment reliability and production cratered. I don't know why I could see that and even mentioned it to certain management people, but they were bound and determined to get a million dollars back from the employees.

I'd find another job and tell them to take me to court if they want it back. I guarantee you there are lawyers out there that would take that Pro Bono just to stick it to the "Man."

You don't really have a leg to stand on. The payment was in error, they have the right to recoup or not. If they underpaid the bonuses you can bet the employees would want Honda to make it right.

It was "hundreds" of dollars per person. How much in bad publicity is this going to cost them?

Yeah, they can get it back, but when you're dealing with one of the automotive giants during hard economic times, sometimes it's better to take the financial hit on overpaid bonuses rather than the larger PR nightmare it can (will) become.
