He did also look to see what AWD Mavericks would be coming in and I got pictures of the window stickers. He also was upfront and told me they added a $2K upcharge over the window sticker, and I told him that would be a deal breaker, so after one of the trips to see the sales manager he said they could maybe knock that down to $500 ... and then went on with there is no profit margin on the Maverick ... how they basically just break even on them. I didn't go to the "I'm 77 and have bought a few cars, a few houses, and several appliances, and you are really going there?" Oh yeah, I was the only non employee in the salesroom the entire time.

Worst part. They don't believe that you can plug a thumb drive with music into the audio system. I'm not subscribing to satellite radio, and sure not listening to what's on the radio. That might be an even bigger deal breaker.

To your last point... I think most new vehicles are designed under the assumption that you will have music or a streaming service on your phone, which will connect by USB or Bluetooth to the stereo.

get Sirius, it is only like $5 month for first 2 years. They tried to raise it to like 20 a few months ago and I told them I don’t need it for work anymore and would ditch it. They offered like $7/month

I am into the Jazz channel now. Relaxing.

I had NFL streaming for 300/year in Houston my last 2 years there to watch Titans. Horrible streaming, kept locking up, and at right after last game, I unchecked it for renewal. Sure enough they billed me anyways the next Sept after I had already canceled ATT and moved. ATT was the sponsor for Pete’s sake. When I called he said let me check to make sure you haven’t watched any of the early games. Really?

Everything you deal with these days is pia and just went thru a cluster with Comcast 7 months ago. Awful and incompetent

It's all about getting your credit card number and automatically renewing with a short window to inform them you don't want to renew.

Ditto @hog88. Doldrums and decisions can be dangerous if they get too close. (Dis)Satisfaction at work also can impact feelings at home.

There are a lot of unhappy people out there who will be more than willing to share their “solutions” to your issues.

I love my egg. Got friends with Treagers and they’re great but I‘ve gotten to know my egg and for smoking or grilling I wouldn’t trade it. I do carry a Pit Boss pellet grill/smoker on the camper and I like it.

I didn't anticipate how much I would hate the limited cooking space. I have a large. It's simply too small.
