The team is having another bad day to an overall underwhelming Olympics.

America has been beaten again in the pool as a Canadian has been sweeping the Gold in her individual events. Then in the same race Alex Walsh of Nashville appeared to finish for the bronze, but she was disqualified.

Sha'Carri Richardson finished 2nd in the 100M to an unknown from St Lucia who was the collegiate champion. Like most of the other top Olympians from other countries in many other sports they are training in the US.

Katie Ledecky was able to hold off the Australian, Titmus for the gold medal in the 800 free. Ledecky's 4th in a row. We have been getting dominated by Australian in head to head battles in the pool.

By the end, I would think we have the best chance to finish #1 in gold. We're still trailing after the first week that ended last night. We are missing that young superstar in swimming we've had. I think we're seeing the end of an era for some of our swimming stars as well.

He plays HS ball at Greensboro Grimley in NC!!! Another NICO to likely play after young George McEntire. His stats last season as a junior playing 4A ball are ridiculous. 4A is highest division in NC....



Edit: he will be a HS JUNIOR soon. We started recruting him when he was a 15yo. He has visited and camped here repeatedly. This is a BIG deal. He threw for well over 3000 yards, a buttload of TDs and ran for a bunch more with TDs there too ...he like Hendo on steroids. As a rising junior he is almost 6ft4 and 200lbs.
