Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

I could totally be wrong about this, BUT: watch this video of CJH from today. He starts the video making a remark at Hubbs that didnt SEEM like he was playing, then later when AP asks a double/triple question for the 2nd time in 5 minutes, CJH makes a remark at AP also. Did the VQ guys do something to piss Coach off on signing day? Or yall think its just a coincidence? I have seen Coach smiling and pick at Hubbs before, but this seems different. What yall think?

@marcusluvsvols
please clean up that reply you copied me on in the Radarious thread..lol

Nicos little brother just flipped to Arkansas. We will play them next year too. Their starting QB Green is a senior, and his backup already hit the portal. Good chance Madden leads Arkansas into Neyland to get beatdown next year.

Best thing from Coach Hypes press conference today:

AP asked him about our playoff draw and he said anybody who was worried about who they had to play was only gonna "be there for a cup of coffee anyway". He said we are ready to play "any time, anybody, anywhere...let's put the ball down." Thought that was great. He has a great attitude and confidence as a leader, and if yall have watched any of the locker room videos our players love Coach and love playing at Tennessee. Hype is unique as a leader being a former QB that lead his team to a National Championship. Clearly that has helped in recruiting QBs...we are second to none in that area...but it seems like it just helps the way he relates to our players as well. Love CJH and this staff. Coach Inge also just landed THE best LB class in the nation this season as well. We are gonna be so loaded at LB with the guys from last season and this class. What a time to be a VOL. Looks like we have everyone signed except maybe Sanders, and the insiders and VQ guys are all saying thats a done deal too...but that all the prospects from Sanders HS in Charlotte are gonna sign together later this week in a ceremony. By all accounts, he is a VOL.

Kansas lost... Auburn down by 5 to Duke with 4:30 left.

Vols might be #1 if we take care of business this week!

Dont know how we fared today in the last 6 games, but in the first 10 games of the SEC/ACC challenge, the SEC won 9 out of 10 . Total domination. Bama was beating UNC badly in Chapel Hill tonight also last I saw...so much for the ACC being a "basketball conference".

First 10 games below:

I still get confused seeing Oklahoma in the SEC.

I think I got used to it in football, but basketball is still an adjustment.

My wife is a bigger UT sports fan than I. Watches everything. Would spend all of our money attending events. My daughter has always loved LeBron. I don't care for the NBA during the regular season. But they are both over the moon happy that I am taking them to see the Lakers play the Hawks tomorrow. It's their Xmas gifts.

Consumer Reports yearly reliability ratings for vehicle brands. This one says based on consumer surveys (buyers) when I started paying attention to these in the 90s, they were based on warranty claims buyers made at dealerships to have things repaired or replaced in their new vehicles. By either metric, Toyota and Honda have always been at the top (Subaru new this year to #1) and ALL the GM brands from Chevy, GMC, Cadillac etc have been in the bottom or "worst" category, often 1 of them finishing dead last as the least reliable vehicles sold in America. Rivian has that title this year. Strangely Dodge is not on the list?

I have always liked Consumer Reports, with other products such as skillsaws and drills, they actually test all the products and compare them while including details many folks might not think about...such as weight and battery life. Rather than just comparing price and listing what comes with the tool.

Glad we have a great BasketVol team this year. We will move up from #3 to #1 probably this weekend. Clearly the SEC is the toughest conference in the country in Bball as well...just look at the top25.

We absolutely dominated the ACC. We were 12 total points across 2 games from going 16-0. That is crazy. Love the fact that one of the losses was Kentucky also. Note how many of our wins were blowouts.
