We made the decision to send Tara, my GSD, over the rainbow bridge tomorrow. She had another vestibular incident yesterday and isn't improving much today. At her age, coming back a second time will be even harder.
She's been my loyal companion for twelve and a half years and I feel is best for her to not have to undergo the stress and mental anguish of having to relearn to walk and take care of herself. She'll find peace in a life started with turmoil. She's beaten the odds of the pound wanting to put her down and my vet only giving her a week when I rescued her. She's had a good doggy life surrounded by those she loves especially in this last year.
Hardest decision I've ever made.

Feel for ya dude. We had to put down a 15 and a half year old cat three weeks ago. He was the last of the four we had when we built this house 10 years ago. They were the only pets we had known here. He was the coolest cat I’d ever known too my nickname for him was Lil Dude he was too cool for school. Even though we know it was the right choice it absolutely still sucks. We made the decision to send Tara, my GSD, over the rainbow bridge tomorrow. This from the playoffs in GA. Baker is only like 5ft9in but weighs 215 i think. Very low center of gravity, very quick and fast for someone who isn't a longstrider. His 20yd and 40yd times will be really fast...and thats what really matters honestly. Great short area quickness and lateral movement, along with being a bowling ball thats hard to tackle. I think Baker beats Seldon out for RB3 by the end of his freshman year. Bishop and Lewis split the carries at RB1. Seldon is really talented, but he runs upright and just hasnt had enough experience at RB to be natural running back. He runs more like a WR. Great straight line speed and long, upright strides...but not much lateral quickness and terrible pad level. Sampson excels at pad level and always keeping his legs churning. Thats why he gets so many YAC. Seldon goes down at contact.
Lookin for McDad on the Pier?73 degrees isn’t exactly quite as warm as I consider ideal, but it’s far better than the 40 degrees back home.

Anybody own an American Express?
If so, are there any noticeable benefits than owning a Capital One card?
No Black? Pff. Amateur. It entirely depends how much you intend to use it and what you plan to use it on.
I have an Amex Plat and Gold.
Pros:
Limit adjusts to your use.
Good rewards program with lots of different companies participating
Hands down, the best customer service of all card companies. No holds. 24/7 availability.
Excellent theft/fraud protection in an age where it's too easy to be compromised via the internet.
Cons:
Membership fees of 500 and 250 respectively. Really pushes you to make it your primary card.
Amex isn't always accepted for common use (parking garages, small businesses, utility companies etc)
Fluctuating credit limit may lead to some issues when making larger purchases, even if your balance is zero.
Rewards program requires more spending than other cards to utilize
I also have a Capital One. Their Venture is the flagship travel card due to 0% fees abroad, but get this... their Savor One does the same thing.
Tl;dr
Amex is good, but do yourself a favor and get the Savor One. I collected $700 in cash back this year and it was my second most used card. If nothing else, get it if you eat out more than twice a week.
