Don't get too caught up on the exact numbers. The fact that the exact numbers are being tinkered with is what is important. Enjoy the ride.

Wouldn't that be like getting in a bidding war with yourself? It's clear the Haslams are a MAJOR factor behind this...can't see them doing something like that. My (completely useless) feeling is that if they want Gruden, they want him for UT...not the Browns.

Cant' remember where I heard/read it, but someone said Gruden would be even bigger at UT than in the NFL...and I think that's accurate. Very few names would be "bigger" than him in CFB.

It really shouldn't be an ecred debate. We bring info to you and you decide if you want to believe it or not. It's not a pissing match and I can take some ribbing for things that don't go accordingly but at the end of he day I'm just passing along information that I can decipher as believable based on where it came from. Just passing along info; don't get hung up on who was right/who was wrong. I think it's plenty evident who on VN brings usable information and who is just trolling for laughs.

Well said. I don't think there's any question that the base will be in excess of $5M and incentives likely exceed up to $6M.

Time will tell and right now I'm just soaking it all up. Hope all come true and we'll hash out the details of the battlefield afterwards.
