The folks I've talked to say he hasn't declined. BearCat is a solid guy, so I have no doubts he has heard that. I just don't know who his source is nor am I asking. Nothing is a done deal, imo- pro or con. I will say this, if he has declined, I would be very disappointed if we took a single no as the end and didn't continue to push. Slice has said that, but again, my guys say it's not changed.
Jay, what yearly donation amount would it take for you to consider someone a big enough donor to have any influence/knowledge on the decision making process?
I know someone who makes what I would consider a fairly large donation, but without having a donation amount to reference, I don't know if this person would be considered as big a donor as I or he thinks he is. I never see this guys name mentioned on here, so I am leaning towards the guy having an inflated sense of what his donation level is.
jmo, but some of the louder donors are the younger ones (under 50) that have come into money in the last few years. They don't have the pull, input or info that they claim to have, but speak the most about buyouts, cancelling their boxes, pulling plane use, etc from the program.
The quiet ones are the ones involved in the process.
