When he is officially hired, I will be anxiously awaiting the terms of his contract (what gets leaked of it anyways).

I suspect that his base will be enough to make him the highest paid college coach, but that there will be enormous bonuses, incentives, endorsements (DISH for example), and other options that will make his total deal among the highest for any coach.

What will be most interesting is length and the buyouts for each side. Gruden has to know that being successful here will make his buyout irrelevant since a lot of NFL teams will be willing to cover it to sign him.

On my way to Columbus stopped and filled up at the pilot travel center in Circleville Oh. Asked the cashier she have any info on Jon Gruden. She said "sir I have no idea what your talking about." TIWIW I didn't believe her.

Everything can be found, i simply put the correct pieces together, backchecked it against current sources of info, and put out the story. I never said it was anything new, just that i had pieced together the timeline of events using the knowledge given, connected some dots and filtered the information to get the correct story, confirmed it to beyond just speculating, and posted it. Gruden is coming, and its no one else. Not even close. If you want me to expand on certain points, I'll be glad to do so.

Didn't they think it was supposed to happen last week and the week before that too? After it doesn't happen tomorrow or Wednesday when will the next presser be set for?
