Well, Ainge is saying Cut as HC and Chavis as DC, which is actually more preposterous since Cut cannot stand Chavis and would never agree to him as DC.

I think this is Ainges way of saying its Gruden. At least to those that realize there's no way Chavis would work under Cutt or vise versa.

Come on Ainge!!!!!! No way Chavis or Cut for that matter would get the job over Fulmer. None of these are REAL candidates. This is the clearest smoke screen ever.

I don't think Cut is a real candidate either, but at least he has expressed interest before, and last time around was supposedly a candidate. But I've never heard anyone mention Chief as a candidate. He's been a DC for almost 20 years. I'm not buying that he even wants to be a HC. Where is Ainge getting this?

I am so tired of having to come here and wait, and wait and wait...somebody shoot the damn horse already

AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

Ok - I feel better now

Lol, we might as well bring Fulmer back as HC, Cut as OC, and Chavis as DC if we are gonna do that.

I don't want my old girlfriend back!!!! If we can't do better than 90% of the coaches on some of these list then I see why they haven't fired Dooley yet. I'd rather keep him for another year than a lot of these candidates. At the end of next year get the big time hire then, or maybe Dool's gets a DC worth a crap. I"m all for a big splash, but a lot of these guys on the list aren't impressive for all the buy out money. Being conservative, I'd rather wait for the right hire than rush to the next accident. I'm not saying Dooley doesn't need to be replaced, but not for another 3-4 year experiment. Get your man or wait for another great coach next year.

Jay and Tee were on the roster together weren't they? I know Tee only played for the 98-99 season, but they were at UT together at some point weren't they?

Prepare yourself for what's about to happen.

If we don't have Gruden or another big hire, then Hart is as big an idiot as Basillio. Hart has been around college football for a long time. He knows (or should) that other schools will be looking for replacements. If he waits, they'll mostly be gone by the time he announces the Dooley firing. Surely to God, he's smarter than that!

Please don't use this term

The program will be such a mess after next year's schedule that no quality coach will want to come, we gotta move now.

I would take cut with or without Chavis if it got down to the point of him or smart. Cut would be great in the short term. We could hit the homerun in 3-5 years from now or at least try to again.

good morning Grudennation...

looks like nothing has changed but more rhetoric from TB and Ainge....TB is strong in his belief that Dooley met with the team yesterday and told them of his departure.......

C'mon down Gruden!
