Well I had a doe and fawn walk by me in my tree stand. Let them walk. Nothing with horns, so sad! But a great day to spend in the woods.
Not me. It sounds like his info lines up with all the others but is a little behind. The hurdle that was jumped the other night might be the coordinators pay.
Morning GrudenNation! Everyone take their meds?
Motto of the day is
"No news is good news"!
Gruden 2012, rated R
Opening mid-late November in a giant stadium near you!!
BC- Thanks for the post last night reminding everyone that no news is good news and is entirely expected! I found myself getting worried if i didn't hear somet hing encouraging every day. It was predicted by Boro and yourself. So thanks!
Jake
What day did you say the mou was signed.
Not questioning you. In your conversations, have you heard anything about gruden's agent.
Thanks
You must get talkative when youre drinking. Its always the same progression each day lol. Its funny. Let an hour or two go by without what is termed as "information" and people say the vibe is down. They latch onto any post that looks like information and by the next page, the conversation has changed. Its a funny study in social media dynamics imo. People post stuff like "Ok Boro hasnt posted all morning, must be problems". It gets old saying the same thing, and there is nothing else to say right now.
Like I said, if there is something else to say regarding Gruden before the Kentucky game it will most likely not be good information.
When you ask your wife to marry you, and she says yes, and you set a date, do not ask here every 5 minutes if she is sure. She said yes. Thats where we are with Gruden. Could we get left at the altar because something gets screwed up? Sure, anything is possible but usually when they say "yes" the actual "taking of vows" is only a formality. That's where we are.
No...I didn't say that, to be clear. I have been following the lead of the credible posters here. And using my business instincts to make sense of it all to myself.
However, the past several days have brought an enlightening new source to my life regarding the boosters at UT...specifically the Haslam's.
This guy and I played baseball together, he played college baseball at Western KY, was associated with the NY Yankees organization in some capacity after that, and now apparently owns a business with Bill and Jim Haslam.
His elderly mother, of all people, contacted me a few days ago...sent me my buddy's phone number (865) area code, and told me to call him.
I left him a message yesterday, has not retuned my call.
His mother emailed me AGAIN this morning and told me I need to talk to him about the Gruden situation.
Cutting a small part of that email out...she said "I don't know all the names of these coaches like you guys do, but he does. I had to sit through 2 hours of all that football jibberish last night. Trust me, you need to talk to him."
So I replied....to her, "I called him and left a message. Did he tell you I called? He's probably in a proprietary situation with all of this and I understand If he doesn't contact me back. But Mrs ____,can you please tell me one thing in all that jibberish? Is UT close to finalizing things with Gruden and his staff?"
I sent that an hour or so ago...
I'm obviously waiting on a response or a phone call.
Tht why I'm asking form someone on here that claims to be close to the Haslam's to reach out to me...so I can verify.
When I first started reading this thread, I thought you guys were nuts for believing Gruden would come... I started believing around Gruden V. But I just have a feeling that the people running the show at UT are somehow gonna find a way to screw it up, it's just the Tennessee way.
