No matter which side of the will he/wont he fence you fall on you have to admit the idea of this whole thing not going through because tennessee has "cooled" on Gruden is preposterous.

If Gruden has interest and we truly do decline to pursue it, Im going to have to reevaluate my life a little.

MNF is a lot different than what Meyer did. More ties, more publicity, bigger responsibilities.

I don't blame the guy, it's kinda like with LWS. You just gotta take what he says and consider your own path. I use to subscribe to his site for several years until I discovered VN where you get his info and all others for free summarized for you.

I just got around to reading the most recent Hubbs quote (the long one). I'm sorry but I'm not buying it.. Parts of it just simply sound unbelievable.. Sounds like a cover, kindling for the fire that creates more smoke.. No sources and I'm not just telling myself what I want to hear.. It just doesn't feel right..

What he'll do is have a whole story about how "things changed" very shortly before it's announced. And his followers will forget all about the previous month of him dancing around the questions and backtracking on his statements. Everyone will be too excited and overjoyed with the fact Jon F'n Gruden is the new UT HC to care about being strung along. IMO

Is it more believable that JayVols, OldVol, 'BoroVol, DTO, OS and the other OG's, and all the folks on VQ, Scout and other places are making it all up?

Yes, that and his members will happily stay and many more will subscribe to get the latest on how Gruden will affect recruiting and who we are in on.

I'm not sure how that question goes with my statement. I have seen nothing by any of those guys that addresses Hubbs statements. I do believe that they have been told exactly what they are posting and that they have faith that it is true.
