Wait a damn minute here! Reid is still the head coach in Philly right? He and Gruden are friends. There is no way he is going behind his back and asking about hiring someone for Philly.

I still think Hart screws this hire up and if its not a grand slam hire then they need to padlock Neyland. Like I posted last night , I think Hart pulls A Hammy and goes to the flea market and see what's on sale. That's where Hammy found Dooley.

Exactly what I was thinking. Isn't Holmgren one of his mentors? He has way too much respect for him to be caught up in that.

Some of these control issue problems really don't make too much sense to me. Although there haven't been specifics, those in the know have hinted that control issues have come down to recruiting practices and even as far as Gruden wanting assistant Athletic director status (siap on another site).

It is just hard for me to believe that Gruden wants the ability to skirt the rules and is using that as leverage in a contract negotiation. It also doesn't make sense that he would want to be assistant athletic director either. I just can't see how these snags would make a deal fall through. Everything hits snags, and hopefully these are just made up snags put out by the AD.

Nothing in that tweet implies Gruden wants Castillo to coach at Philly, just that Gruden is seeing if he is interested in being on his staff where ever he end up coaching.

Lamonte is the agent for both as well. I could see Gruden to Philly and Reid to San Diego maybe...who knows.

Grud just needs to come on to Knoxville and start 'cruitin'
