Do Lamonte or gruden have any fraternity ties? The Haslams and bob corker were all sigma chi's.

Jimbo is a goober, the fact that he hasn't gotten FSU to a NC game with the talent he has is almost a definate no way of getting to a NC game at UT.

At the risk of being hunted down and flogged with my own feet i will make one last rationalization for hope. The last time we actually knew a change was inevitable and took our time to court coaches and make a hire - it was considered an absolute homerun. The kiffins potentially gonna be great. Defensive mastermind in dad and both were seen as a fastlane to nfl....exactly what a recruit is looking for. Turned out to be more like a monkey ******* a football, but who really saw that coming? Dooley was like getting a last minute christmas gift from walgreens....sometimes u gotta choose from whats available. Hopefully the decision makers know all that we know and then some. Here's hoping they get it right. Sure would love to see big orange compete in a heavyweight game like the one between bama and the dawgs tonite. I gotta believe we will get it right this time.

Oh yeah, he's definitely overqualified for an AD job, I was just saying he needs to eventually find his way back to UT. Maybe instead of some of these Florida and Bama people....

Are there any reports on exactly what happened between Hart and Gruden? I know the general storyline, but have been out of the loop for a couple of days because of work. I'm not a fan of Hart, but haven't really heard what he "did".

Well, if you want further evidence of a conspiracy for "smokescreen-for-Gruden" then look no further than the recent Strong interview. Wes and other Knox media reporting it happened, then you have Fox sports analyst and other outlets saying it didn't happen. One thing is for sure, this coaching search has been incredibly strange; and I don't blame people thinking there is a huge smokescreen going on to land Gruden. I also believe nothing should be ruled out until you see someone behind the podium.

Bama won that game because of the decisions Saban made, and FSU almost lost because of the decisions that Fisher made. See Florida and NC State games for reference on Fisher's game management, or lack thereof.

What I've heard, is that the boosters went after Gruden without Hart. Hart got butthurt, and started to complain about how much control Gruden wanted and kinda wimpered until boosters started to listen to his list of rock star suck jobs. That is all hear say though.
