What keeps bothering me about all this, is that Gruden has not said much of anything and neither has UT officially. This usually always happens and happens quickly if there is no deal. You notice all of the other coaches usually shoot it down personally when it's not happening, and Gruden has shot it down himself in past years. I don't think it's over yet. Not saying it is probable, but possible.

I agree. Stoops and fisher wasted no time. The only thing i really heard from gruden is that there was never an offer from ut and even that there were never any serious discussions. If thats true i will kiss my own arse. Somethings amiss.

Basically that Hart will come in and save the day with Gruden.

I just don't see that happening because of how Hart has been so demonized. But I sure as hell hope it happens.

With the sources he had, and as confident as he was, no way he just stops digging.

I don't disagree. And I don't love Fisher. But I'd take him over some of the other options out there. I would love Gundy, but that won't happen.

Dont get me wrong, I am full Grude. But I like this guy. I never saw DD have any passion for UT. This guy truly loves his players and coaches them up.

Sadly, fisher is the only one of these that has any exp with a job this big and he isnt dominating at fsu....when he should be. Strong wont make many happy, but fedora, smart, davis or any of these last ditch options wont make anybody happy. Might as well hire me. I coached my sons flag team to an undefeated season. A smart man once said: "No matter how much you polish a turd....it's still a turd."
