For those that are starting to wake up and realizing this isn't adding up I applaud you. Now let's just keep the faith and not worry about "new" information and look at all the info we have already been given.

ps. Sorry if I rambled or repeated myself a lot, I'm trying to do this on mobile (which is near impossible to scroll up and see what you've wrote) and I'm all jacked up on Starbucks!

They wanted him to write it... so definitely a media ploy for 1 of the sides.

I was told from the beginning that controlling the flow of info was very important to Gruden.

I'm certain that whatever deal may be has been in the works for months. By months I mean more than two.

Sorry for the long answer. My opinion is that if the rift between Hart and the Boosters was real....Hart would have been given his walking papers months ago. Any reasonable person in Hart's position would realize that if dealings were to be done with Gruden, that an AD with a sitting coach wouldn't be able to do that.

Lex, I apologize that I am responding to this message so late, but I'm trying to get caught up from today. After reading what you wrote and thinking about your comments about you think info is being released on a delayed basis...meaning things that actually did happen is being released but a few weeks later. Such as, maybe the rift did occur with Hart and the boosters, but it occurred 3 weeks or so ago. Now, what Hart, boosters, and Gruden did was wanted to wait and use this info to kill the media buzz later down the road to give more time. What I'm getting at is I wouldn't be surprised that they purposefully leaked info to the journalist in Chattanooga to write that story, and then used the info from prior weeks that they had a big blow up, and the deal is off. This is how it is portrayed to those in the know...to those in the media, there are statements made that Gruden NEVER was interested, and UT is moving on with the search.

Now, here is my final point: if info is being delayed 3 weeks or so, and we just got the info that occurred 3 weeks ago when we thought the announcement would occur any day now, then it seems that we have about 3 more weeks to have the actual announcement. Guess when that would be?...right after JG's last Monday night game on December 22nd!!! The timeline fits perfectly. Flame away.

I havent really wavered that much. Initially I did some on Friday when I heard about Gruden's agent but then starting thinking it through and it didnt add up. I still believe, honestly. I think we will see Gundy and Fisher stay at their schools this week, and Strong take a job, and I think that will tell us what's up. Hope I am right.

Doesn't it seem funny if Peterson was available to be had and we where really looking for candidate he would have been on our list. Most of our list are of guys that seem to have no reason at all to leave where there at .

And I'm honestly wondering if Dave said December 15th, expecting the fan base to really melt down if he doesn't have a coach by then...

By December 15th, Auburn and Arky will probably have their coaches. What if we didn't?

But if December 23rd comes, and Dave Hart announces Gruden, all will be forgiven, and we'll "understand it better by and by"
