Problem is Strong can't take Tennessee to the "promise land"! And I for one don't want UT to hire a coach who says the reason he had been passed over for HC jobs was racism!!!

And in today's media/sports world, HC's must be polished inasmuch as they are dealing with high profile donors - media, etc!!!

Which is funny since it has been widely reported that Hart wasn't even in New York until last night.

If everybody would quit listening to Hyams, he would lose his job and maybe somebody who actually knew their a**hole from their elbow would take his place.

Dooley was well spoken, how did that turn out? Again we need a coach, not the head of UTs English Department. I don't buy the racism crap.

My problem with Hyams is how freaking condescending he is while being wrong. I mean, it's ok to be wrong every now and again, but don't be a jacka$& at the same time.

Gundy won't leave OK State as he is a grad and I think he dad was also and he has been there for a while so he is in love with OSU.

Jim Mora JR??? Pleaseeee, we can't do better than that?? What has he done but win a couple of games in the PAC 12. I rather have Strong as at least he can recruit especially in Florida and is defensive minded which looking at our defense this year, we'll enough said!!!!!!!!

Disagree completely. The coach is the face of the university. He has to be able effectively interact with the media and fans. Like it or not, the PC skills help folks form their opinions of the coach.

The reason Strong was not offered the HC position at UF had nothing to do with anything but his ability to be a head coach. Period.

Anybody can think what they want, but if we hire Strong, we will be a 6 or 7 win team for a long time to come. Of that, I have absolutely no doubt.

Because if Gruden deal got derailed I want to know "how", "why" and more importantly "who" is to blame.

You and I both know Knoxville's sports media isn't going to investigate the story. I think UT Fans should and need to know the truth of what went down and who is to blame. The answers to those questions are in my opinion paramount.

If Hart is to blame for the snafu, he should be held accountable. If someone else is to blame, then that person/people should, likewise, be held responsible. I strongly believe that the UT Athletic Department's paramount duty is to its consumers!!!

Strong must be planning on going to another team. Sure hasn't been recruiting for Louisville. Rivals has them ranked at #73 right now. Major recruiter, my a**.

We should be careful to not fall into the same trap as before.

Listening to the Knoxville jockeys may prove worthless again.

Another name will surface. One we haven't been mentioning or paying close attention to.
