Have a friend that is semi high up at the ticket office handles some big time boosters definitely not on Haslam level type boosters. Although people that give 10k+ every year he told me his phone has not stopped with this GS mess, and he had to turn his UT phone off.

Hopefully we have good things coming !!

I honestly this is part of the power struggle between Haslam and everyone else. Currie probably said, “I’ve got a buddy we can hire” to stay on Haslam’s good side and Haslam is such a power hungry jackass he signed off on it. There’s a reason Currie chose to avoid using a search firm. He didn’t want anyone to find dirt on Schiano and nix the deal.

I am still in shock over how today unfolded.

I don’t see any way to have a positive outcome at the end of today’s events. Currie is a moron, Schiano loses his job possibly, Gruden realizes we are a dumpster fire, university looks awfully incompetent, and we scare away any other coach who might be a good hire. Honestly, worst case scenario all around. How could this be Currie going rogue? I’m so confused.

His reach is massively amplified by the amount of attention each tweet receives. He doesn't need to unprotect the account to be heard. I have no clue who we end up with, but I believe that Beave's intent is solely to shape opinion and influence the hire. His method works.

Would rather 100 people read your tweet, or 100 people retweet and post it on boards?

Good lord no. He was never in play if we went after someone like Schiano. What makes me most mad isn’t falling for all the crap AGAIN that he was coming it is that he nor Currie shut it down (like grudens agent did in 2012)
