Btw I wasn't calling out Knuck, Exile or anyone else. Just saying your sources are apparently not as reliable as you may have thought. Either that or Currie did go rogue, but I have a hard time believing that since I would assume there are multiple signatures on a contract including Bevs.

VN insiders that have be proven to have zero inside information should not be defended. They were wrong. It's easy to quote and insider behind a screen name. Guys who had real inside info wouldn't hide behind a screen name. It makes no sense to quote VN insiders and at the same time ridicule guys like Jimmy Hyams. Sorry.

Do Currie's bosses not have to sign these contracts, or at the very least sign off before put to ink? If so it doesn't stop with Currie. His boss and his bosses boss must go as well. This is a PR nightmare within a PR nightmare.

Here's the far more likely and actual story.

Gruden offered a good offer. Gruden declined. Mullen was the back up, he said no once Florida didn't land Kelly or Frost. He wanted to go back there. Currie panicked and blew UT football into the stone age.

So is this all a ruse? I just cannot believe that Currie and our Ath Dept would pull a stunt like this as a diversion.

We have been told repeatedly that Gruden was a done deal but today makes me think the deal was never done.

This is some of the craziest stuff I have ever seen. And if Haslam and Currie really did want to hire Schiano then we are 100% screwed. There is an article floating around that Haslam wanted to hire Schiano for the Brown's a year or two ago. We must rid ourselves of all thing Haslam.

So what the hell is going on?

I apologize to all about my multiple threads and zealousness re that coach almost hired not to be named. I should have stopped...Was banned from posting threads for reason.(me prob being too aggressive most likely).no worries. Hope all works out..Just kind of become a zealot with people who might remain quiet re adults in power positions messing with kids ..If Currie floated this persons name that brings back bad memories for me and many ..I wish him to not be a part of this search anymore..i could wish other things but will stop
