Love Tee. But, I guarantee you he got no where near a decent HS education (Williamson HS) and doubt he improved much on that at UT (the team that also had Travis Henry on the roster). He is smart, but I don't think Tee would be up to the task of running a program like UT.

People at UT AD are trying to cover their collective arses.

It isnt hard to connect the dots on who tried to force this hire. Their are a number of articles about Jimmy Haslam's fascination with Schiano, he wanted to hire him for the Brown's three years ago!

So every pro-gruden nug, article, etc had to be planned by boosters forcing currie’s hand right? The hargis/Blackburn story is really starting to make a lot of sense now. It was basically Blackburn “if I was AD, I’d have this done,” and giving a bird to Currie and Haslam. Smart play. Get Blackburn there now.

The only way Gruden would still even consider coaching here IMO is if Blackburn or Fulmer were AD. Maybe that’s what happens tomorrow.

Or because we are (rightfully) being mocked nationally, people will natural ask "How on earth did that happen?" ... not saying it wasn't put there on purpose, but it's the answer to a common sense question that will be asked

I’m struggling to see where a masters degree makes you a good football coach?? We don’t need him to write out the university payroll. We need him to energize the players, recruits, and fanbase. All the other stuff is handled by a team behind closed doors anyway.

Guys, this place has become toxic. It really doesn't matter what was said in the past. Let's move on and regroup and get a coach hired. Screaming F you to posters is not really helping matters. I'm as disappointed as everyone else is, but this toxic environment has got stop. And I'm sure I'll get a GTFO by a 13 year old poster, but I don't really care.

We have to make Tee an offer he can't refuse. We need every VFL back on board to get thru this **** storm.
