Seems to me volnation has spoken and that even just small donors and season ticket holders have a little bit of influence.

I'm just saying that the vast majority of people were and are here to talk TN football (and burgers, alcohol, legal issues, self-help, and many other things). Just for kicks - let's say he actually said that. At some point you rise above that kind of BS and recognize that you are better off w/o anyone who would ever say something like that. It's highly unprofessional and anyone who would say something like that about an opportunity in their profession will never get another opportunity.

If he said that it's probably because he was immediately tossed into the the ocean left for dead by us vols fans BECAUSE he turned a blind eye to a child molester not because we are below his standards. Many came to this thread and brought the idea to temper expectations.

The faction of fans that kept the gruden hype going and harshly rejecting any counter thought must take the hit for the huge gruden let down.

I've come to the conclusion that what we need is a federal government program in place for the sole purpose of hiring college football coaches because obviously, the free market isn't doing it's job and if we just hire enough bureaucrats and staff them well, then we will solve all the problems we saw yesterday
