The reality is no matter how pissed you are right now like I am we all need to take some time to blow off the steam. Then when we are ready we ALL need to come back and support the team until Jones shows he just isn't going to cut it. That is what is best for all of us. We just have to hope and pray he turns into a homerun hire like many before him turned into. Cause the alternative is a very very bleak reality that I don't want to think about right now.

Or he lied, has no sources, knows his sources are laughable, etc. And had no integrity in posting such nonsense and leading all you gullible people to believe in something with no substance.

since all these people were so sure gruden was coming I would really like to hear the details about why the deal fell through

My thanks to you Boro---this was the most hopeful I have felt about UT football in 4 or 5 years...and the most fun I have ever had on a forum. hats off to you and the OGs (and all the Grudenites who are in til the end) :hi:

ahh.. but you do not know anymore than I do the true answers to that. Therefore, defending the OG's and staying undivided would still be integrity, and bashing them would not represent integrity :)

questions for Dave Hart at press conference:

1. When did you first put Butch on the search list?
2. Did you speak with Gruden's people?
3. When was Gruden excluded as a viable candidate and why not tell the press?
4. Do you wish you'd advised the fan base about your decision not to pursue JG earlier?
5. Why would you not allow M. Gundy another day to contemplate his decision?
6. Do you love Chancellor Cheek?

I'm hopeful too. There was Jon Gruden, and the rest of the field. This is as good of a hire as anyone other than Jon Gruden. People need to freaking relax and give the man a chance.

The University of Tennessee has announced it will move to the Big East Conference effective immediately.

Dave Hart is quoted having said, "Well, at least there isn't a buyout in the SEC. That was a good fiscal move for us."

Jimmy Cheek is on record with "We won't have to worry about booster interference in the Big East. They will all find another school to donate to, and we can get back to focusing on being mediocre."

I really wish we had someone in the Knoxville media with the stones to ask these questions! Well, the first five, I don't give a crap about his feelings about Cheek.

Can't seem to change my avi while on my mobile so flame away. Guys things did not work out the way we wanted, but no worries. After the morning shocker I've chilled and just goin with the flow. Here's to hoping Peterman can do a helluva Johnny Manzel imitation!!

Btw I'm saying Peterman cause I don't think Worley will succeed in this type of offense. Guessing he may transfer.
