Would be a good coach for us. I like Fedora. Someone who would make a good coach (not mentioned, considered, experienced, or even a prospect) would be Ron Jawworski. The brains behind ESPN's analytical team. Seems to be incredibly knowledgeable of offenses and dissecting defences. Young men would follow him. Just saying. Keep shorts on.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!! This guy doesn't get it!!! Defense is NOT part of his philosophy!! He would fail worse than Dooley or Chizik in the SEC. HELL NO!!!!

Didn't we just fire a coach because his teams couldn't score enough to account for his lack of ANY defense?? Geez people!!!!

i like Fedora, don't know if he's in the running or not but i don't see him stayin in UNC too long.

Gundy is far superior to Holgerson, in my opinion. He has had more sustained success and has shown he can beat an SEC team.

i havent caught any OSU games this year, but that team last year sure was fun to watch.

Fedora can't coach defense either. UNC wasn't in the top 50 in team D or scoring D. Plus Gundy is five years younger, and hell he worked under Gundy. Gundy isn't my first option but he's much better than Fedora.

Agree with OP and have similar questions. Like the dude's personality but that won't keep Eddie Lacy or Todd Gurley out of the endzone.

We do not need Gundy. Championships are won by playing great defense and being able to run the football on offense with a power running game. Gundy is all offense and no defense. Big 12 football will not work in the SEC. Why are we even interviewing this guy.

So everybody wants Strong? The choices are limited at this time. There is no proven SEC coach available except for Petrino. So choose your poison.

it is absolutely beyond me how some of you guys think an offensive oriented coach cant win a championship. its simple. hire a great DC and get busy.
